- The cost is $35 pre-registered and $42 at the gate. Checks should be made out and sent to Wellington Farms (at address above)with a note on the check's comment line, BMW rally 2004. For those who opt not to pre-register, RSVP’s are REQUIRED!!!.
This event is sponsored by a BMWMOA chartered club and Wellington Farm Park will be the Treasurer and handle the registration system. Pat Carol (989-727-3813) is the co-coordinator for Northern Michigan. Special considerations are in place for Canadians due to the difficulty in sending foreign funds. Feel free to call Pat or Larry with any questions; both know Northern Michigan very well.
Registation Includes:
- 2 Nights Camping, Weenie roast / Chili Friday night, Chicken Dinner Saturday, and Farm breakfast on Sunday morning.
Ice on site and a GIANT bonfire Saturday evening. 10 acres for our camp, toilets and running water, covered pavilion, private entrance, morning coffee. The nationally known Michelson Singers will provide a live performance for us on Saturday evening, their style is easy listening / Big Band. Early arrival / late stay @ $4 /day. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).
Here’s what you can do from Grayling.
- Canoe the World Class AuSable River: 2 ½ or 4 hour trip, pick up and return to your bike parked at the canoe office. Secure locked storage for your riding gear. An approx. cost before group discount is $ 20 / 24 per boat, 3 people per .The Ausable River is the site for many Professional canoe races and the water level in mid June is the best of the year. Penrod's Canoe, & Borcher Canoeing All canoe safety equipment is included
- 1 & 1/2 hour ride will put you in Mackinaw, (City and Island),
- Harbor Springs (M119 has been named as one of the best rides in the US by BMW Motorcycles). Routing and maps will be provided.

- Lake Michigan
- Torch Lake
- Many Indian Casinos
- Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
with attractions such as :
- Paradise
- Whitefish point
(Edmund Fitzgerald sinking site),
- Tahquamenon Falls and many more.
Locally in Grayling you can:
- Ride thru the Jordan River Valley,
- Fish for Trout in the AuSable river, ($ 6 for a day license).
- Hartwick Pines lumber museum ($4 ) for state park vehicle pass.
- Hundreds of miles of twistys, east, north or west and truly a GS rider’s PARADISE
The reason that this date was chosen is primarily that the tourist season has NOT yet started, tourist venues will not have large crowds, the park was available and date conflict with other rallies is minimal.
