#1 USC next opponent for #4 Michigan.

Michigan will play a neglected #1 USC Trojans team in the Rose Bowl on New Years Day. The match-up will be the traditional Big Ten/Pac 10 Champions. The #1 Trojans were left out of the Sugar Bowl, but is happy to be #1 and playing in the Rose Bowl. No doubt, thiswill be a tough game for the Wolverines, but if they play they way they played their last 6 games, they have a shot to up-end the #1 team in the land.

Chris Perry was named one of the three finalists for the Doak Walker Award. The Doak Walker Award goes to the best running back in the country. Kansas State's Darren Sproles and Virginia Tech's Kevin Jones are the other finalists.

Chris Perry received the Shembechler Award, also known as the Team MVP. Perry was one of ten players to receive individual awards.
