| While we were going to court for this trial, a representative of MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, helped us through it. She was a very special person, who helped us through it and showed us her support. MADD wanted, as much as we did, for this drunk driver to go to jail for as long as he could. He was convicted on three accounts, which made everyone happy. He is definitely guilty for the death of my cousin and he should go to jail and stay there forever. He is supposed to stay in jail for the maximum of 15 years. This is still not even close to how long he should stay in jail. We showed our concern for our cousins memory. We wrote letters to the judge so that this drunk driver would go to jail and stay there as long as he could. He was also, known to drive drunk before this night even happened that my cousin had passed away. The life sentence is 15 years, but should be longer than that for the sake of my cousin. MADD has helped my family and friends during our tough times. They have a great site to visit and you can check out what they are all about.
