Holy Water is a Christian band that was started on October 25, 2002. It is made up of the lead guitarist David Switzer, rythm guitarist Jeff Rauen, singer Scott Smith, Andrew Lee at the drums, and bassist Eric Craven. It was imagined and created at a Newsboys concert that David and Andrew were at. They were getting kind of thirsty so they bought a bottle of water. Earlier that concert they were talking about starting a Christian band, and were trying to think of a good name. David looked at the bottle of Aquafina water and said, "How about water?", and Andrew replied, "How about Holy Water?" It's not clear exactly what David said after that but it was something like, "Your a genius" or "That's gold!"

Then, after the concert, they asked Scott to sing for them, and he agreed. Right now we know how to play two songs fully; "Breakfast" by Newsboys, and "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World. Currently we are working on many other songs and are getting new equipment.
