GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES:

1. We request that the player listed on the left will create the table and invite the players
listed on the right. This does not mean that only that person may create a table. Tds will invite
for finals in any order they choose.

2. If you do not see your name listed in the elimination round you have a bye: A bye allows
you to advance to the next round without playing.

3. CAPS are to be used solely by the Tournament Director (TD).

4. Players will not use abusive, foul or obscene language that is grounds for automatic
disqualification and respects the Tournament Director at all times.

5. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the game and all the rules associated with
it as well. The tournament director makes tournament specific rules. TDs decision is final.

6. MIA RULE: Hardware and reliability are the player’s responsibility. If the player’s
connection is severed during a match it is our position to disqualify after a combined
10-minute absence.

7. DQ RULE: A combined 10-minute (15-minute boot rule is for tournaments that have
an entry fee of 500 BananaBux or more) rule on boots/MIA begins when player notifies
the Tournament Director and the Tournament Director acknowledges the player. Time is
run consecutively and does not begin over each time they are disconnected. 15- minute
boot rule is for tournaments that have an entry fee of 500 BananaBux or more.

8. Please be familiar with tournament format and the player responsibilities to report. Outright
failure to report a win or loss without telling TD may disqualify you from the next tournament.
Team tournament play the captain MUST report Win or loss.

9. If you are visiting a tournament match, there will be NO TALKING; KIBITZING and
you must stay until the end of the game. Players have the option to request no watchers,
if you asked to leave please do so.

10. Players are not allowed to play in other games while in tournament play. Players are
automatically disqualified when caught playing other games during a tournament. If a
player has started a game before the tournament has officially started, then they have
10 minutes (15 minutes for tourneys with entry fee of 500 Bux or greater) to get out
of that game before reporting to the tournament game. Any time used will count towards
their boot time. Players may not start a non-tournament game 15 minutes prior to the
official start of the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS!

11. Your name must match exactly to play in tournaments. Your name must be 24

characters or less. There will be no exceptions! Match exactly or be disqualified.

12. If you are in a tournament and you lose in the first round, the FIRST round must
be completed before you can check into another tournament.

13. In the event of a defunct server, games that have started will be completed; you will
have 10 minutes to get to the new server after that. Once the ten minutes is up, your
10-minute MIA timer will start. The TD will state any other special instructions

Sub Rules:

There are tournaments that require partners. Everyone pays to play and everyone should
get their chance to play. Here is the rule for tournament matches when one person is
missing because of a time out or a disqualification:

a) Call the TD to the table to start a timer. (10 minutes for tournaments 0-499 bux and
15 minutes for tournaments 500 bux and over)

b) If a player TIMES OUT there will be NO skipping of hands. If a player MISS BIDS
in any NON reg. game we will skip hand 4 times until its back to original dealer. Players
that played in the tourney, but have already lost a game, will be given preference for
subbing in that tourney. Players who were disqualified for disrespect or disruption of
tourney, or who timed out, will not be allowed to sub in that tourney.

c) If you time out or are DQ's before money round your buxxs will be taken from
your account. If you dq or time out during a money round you will keep your buxxs
EARNED.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK YOUR TD!

Pinochle Specific Tournament Rules:

1. Setting the table - If table is not set unrated and game starts, if will continue and stand
as played and all players will cancel at the end of the required number of hands. Allow
Idle Force forfeiting option must be OFF. If not off, table will have to be re-made, regardless
of how many hands have been played. It is all players at the table's responsibility to make
sure the table is set correctly.

2. Uneven number of players - We strive to start on time. If the tourney starts with
an odd (uneven) # of players checked in one will be bumped from the tourney. The
bumped player will be the last player to check into the tournament. Make sure you
check in early to avoid this possibility.

3. Tie Breaker - In the event of a tie, the Tournament Director must be called to
the table. The score will then be cleared, and two hands will be played to determine
the winners of the match.

4. Table Talking - No table talk will be permitted. Any talk of the hand at play
or any coaching during bidding will be grounds for an auto dq.

5. Conceding in partner type games – There will be no conceding. If you concede,
you will be reported.
