Now I'll have to admit that I never even heard of this figure before seeing Tim Frankovich's "Iconoclasts." Even after seeing that, I still had no clue who he really was. The figure itself doesn't do anything for me. Don't get me wrong, the mold is very nice and original--unlike most of the figures of today. However, the colors are just way off. Why in God's name is he red, black, and yellow? Why yellow? If they would have done silver instead of yellow, it would have made so much of a difference it's not even funny.

But for the basics: the figure's mold is nice, like I said. The ponytail, glasses, and the toothy "I'm a criminal" grin are nice touches. Looking at his head, you'd swear he's a figure mold for a criminal mastermind. But when it comes to the body....more like a video-game mastermind, if you ask me. He's unispiring to me. When I look at him, nothing clicks for me. He's off for some reason or another. And I believe the biggest reason is that canary/piss yelllow. Why that, (out the thousands of colors they could have used), color? It just doesn't fit at all.

The accessories are of the brightly-colored-remakes-of-previously-okay-accessories era. He came with somesort of something launching device, if I remember correct. Why is that everything had to be spring-loaded? Were kids really that unimaginative during those years?

Overall, I'd give him an C-/D+, although he is in The Serpent Wars...
