Tomax and Xamot

Two equally cruel and greedy men, Tomax and Xamot are identical mirrors of each other. The co-owners of Exstensive Enterprises; the two are frequently caught up in the midst of Cobra's schemes, and they pull high rank amongst the group. They are the commanders of the entire Crimson Guard division.

Serpentor

Created from the greatest military men and conquers in the world history, Serpentor serves as Emperor of Cobra. With his impressive skill and decision-making, he bravely leads Cobra into battle. With him as their leader, Cobra has expierenced great victories, and mass troop morale.

Zartan

A master of disguise and deception, which is about the only confirmed fact about Zartan. He is completely unpredictable, and can disguise himself as ANYONE. He is the established leader of the Dreadnoks, and operates with his brother[Zandar] and sister [Zarana]. However, he is secretly holding information from everything, concerning the heir to the Dreadnok leadership....

Mercer

The only Cobra member to ever defect and join GI Joe, Mercer, is the most highly trained member of the Joe team. Having spent years under Sgt. Slaughter's close teaching in the Renegades, Mercer finally became a full member of the team. He specializes in Covert Operations, and works full-time with his relay partner, Stephanie Kennedy--the niece of Keel Haul....

Vypra

Sweet, young, and delicate...Three words you might use to describe any typical twenty-three year-old girl, but not this one. Jamie McKenzy, the real name of Vypra, grew up in a torn home. Her mother died giving birth to her, which sent her father into a downward spiral. This had a great effect on her brother, Jack McKenzy--also known by his GI JOE codename: Recondo--who felt he had to join the service to hide his true emotions. Not wanting to follow in her brother's footsteps, young Jamie felt the need to test her limits.

She broke the law on numerous small things--petty theft, breaking and entering, and once for assistance in grand theft auto. However, this didn't suit Jamie McKenzy, so she left her home in search for a place that used her talents to their maximum abilities. What she found was Cobra. She made her way to Cobra Island, and soon found she fit in quite well with the mass groups of smugglers, theives, murderers, and the sort that made that island their home. For the first time ever, she felt that she belonged somewhere. She soon developed a notable connection to freelance assassin, Michael Sykes. And since they first met, nothing seems to be able to pull them apart....

Cobra Commander

Total control of the planet! Domination! In 1982, a man calling himself Cobra Commander created a terrorist organization known as Cobra. Up to 1986 he ruled Cobra with an iron-fist, but his bumbeling stupidity and tactical mistakes in combat, cost him to lose the support of his underlyings. So in 1986, fed up with Cobra Commander, Dr. Mindbender, Tomax and Xamot, and Destro spearheaded the creation of Serpentor-Supreme Cobra Emperor! Boggled by the fact that he was betrayed by his associates, Cobra Commander led a secession against Serpentor. A Cobra Civil War broke out.

Dissapointed by Cobra Commander's continual intolerance for his command, Serpentor ordered Mindbender to alter Cobra Commander, so he was loyal to Serpentor. It managed to work, but faded off around 1998 or so. Cobra Commander continues to protest against Serpentor's plans, and secretly plots against him.

Firefly

If there is ever a task that Cobra needs taken care of, they contact the one individual that they can rely on time and time again. This man is known only as Firefly. The most dangerous and most skilled sabetour and inflitrator to ever live, Firefly serves Cobra on a financial agreement only. Firefly seems to be driven completely by money and the quest for more of it. While his fees are considerable, he always completes the task requested, and has never been caught, let alone seen, by hostile forces during a mission. And he takes great pride in that. His ego is almost as big as his pocketbook. He requests only one thing before he inks a contract for a job, and that is that all of his fees are emptied into a numbered Swiss bank account in advance. He gives no garuntee, (not that his reputation doesn't speak for itself), and gives no refund.

Lt. Falcon

Some people call him a "gold-plated goof-off," others call him a respectable officer. While there is no doubting Falcon's abilities, there are some of the older Joes who look down upon his attitude. Beach Head seems to be his biggest critic, continually doubting Falcon's ability to handle his many responsibilities. However, Falcon has earned the respect of most on the Joe team with his continual displays of good leadership and good judgement, not to mention his displays of bravery. One thing is for sure, this Green Beret is no push over. He will stand his ground and fight for what he believes in.

Storm Shadow

Tommy Arashikage...What can be said about this man? A lot... Storm Shadow's relationship with Snake Eyes is some-what unclear at the moment, and it doesn't look like it will get any less foggier. Seeing as Storm Shadow is one of Cobra's elite assassins/ninjas, and Snake Eyes can't talk, no one is getting any closer to solving this mystery. To some Storm Shadow may look like a grown man in white pajamas, but he is not to be underestimated. His talents are exceptional, and he is a trained killer...even if he doesn't use modern weaponry....

Zarana

The sister to Zartan and Zandar, Zarana is the odd ball out in the Dreadnoks, as she is the only female. (And no Ripper, Road Pig in a wig doesn't count...) With recent developements, she has become attached emotionally to GI Joe rookie, Alec. Their relationship isn't any clearer than Storm Shadow and Snake Eye's, for neither will really talk about it to their respective 'friends'. Zarana finds herself defending Alec on numerous occassions, when he is on the recieving end of comments from Zartan or Zandar. It will be most interesting to see how deep their connection to one another truly is....

Alec

A rookie member of the GI Joe team, Alec has proved himself worthy to earn, if only a small amount, respect from his fellow Joes. He's fought his way through thick firefights before and is no stranger to the sights and sounds of warfare. His recent encounters with Dreadnok member, Zarana, have proved quite...interesting. Alec seems to have an emotional connection to Zarana, and has defended her honor more than once when with other Joe members.

Beachhead

A vetern GI Joe member, Beachhead, is not at all clueless when battling the forces of Cobra. He serves as the Joe team's lead drill instructer, whipping 'green' recruits into shape. Beachhead rarely falters, but when he does, he takes it out on himself, big time. This has occured more than once, conincidentally, since rookie recruit, Alec, has came into the Joe team. The two are often at odds.
