I would just like to note, that myself--Maderic--was unable to attend the Convention....but CI does have someone there.... I know Dule sent someone who works for him there on a little vacation...my guess is in attempt to promote DuleSight,™ or maybe not... GI Joe CI should be getting pictures back soon enough from our own correspondant....(knowing her, she got lost....go figure....)

For each item we review, we have temporary photos--that is, until we get tapped by our friends at the Con.--these are YoJoe.com's photos....

Thoughts
Okay, I just want to start by saying after seeing the registration pictures, and now the day one photos....we are in awe! My jaw hit the floor when I saw the Cobra Trooper Army Builder 6-pack, and stayed there when I saw the Crimson Guard 3-pack!

Crimson Guard 3-pack Review By: Maderic

Comments:For starters, this is an awesome idea on the part of Hasbro! It looks like they finally got it in their heads, of what we want. And this 3-pack looks to be able to deliver that...

The Good:Too much to state! They're Crimson Guards for god's sake, what's not to like?! The best part being the November '03 release, and the fact that these appear to only be $9.99! I can forsee myself blowing tons of money on these guys alone!

The Bad:They are part of this whole lame "Spy Troops" theme... Atleast two of the three's helmets come off...to reveal heads of GI Joes. Hasbro has made a bad move by placing them as disguised Joes... We want Crimson Army Builders, damn it! Not more "Spy Troop" Joes!

The Ugly: They're limbs are glued in place for the display...with huge globs of glue!

Cobra Troopers 6-pack Review By: Maderic

Comments: Now I would never thought in a million years that this was coming. And to tell you...I am estatic! This set looks abso-FREAKIN-lutely awesome!

The Good: Everything! I don't see a single flaw with this 6-pack, that's how good they appear to be. The differing hair colors and skin tones just add so much depth and character to this set, that it just blows me away! Plus, each set comes with one officer... I can easily see myself getting dozens of these sets...

The Bad: Not a lot here.... The only gripe I have about them is that come out April of '04.... But that gives me time to put some serious cash aside for these wicked figures.

The Ugly: They aren't glued in place like the last set...Doing that for Seigee display, they should have kept with continuity and done it them...:)

Night Force Review By: Jackson

Comments: Since this is my first review, I'll try to keep it simple. The new Night Force looks pretty damn sweet right now. Although, this is the first time I've ever even heard that they were coming out with a new Night Force. When I saw these first few pictures, we--Maderic and I--thought they were some sort of Joe Urban Assualt Team.

The Good:These guys look realistic. Plain and simple, they look like they could pass as a real military squad. And Hasbro gave us a very interesting character selection for this one. The team consists of: Beach Head, Flint, Tunnel Rat, Downtown, Tracker, and Roadblock. I myself, really like the choice of characters here. All of them, minus Tracker...On account that I've never even heard of him.

The Bad: Some of the paint jobs don't look finished for some reason. And I don't know if I like the black slashes on them right now. I guess, only time will tell if these guys can develope into the same greatness as their prior incarnation.

The Ugly: Beach Head's eyes are too far apart...
