How on earth can you get cooler than the original Cobra Troopers and Cobra Officers? I mean, just freaking look at the figures! The swivel-arm Cobra Officer is one of my favorites. His design is perfectly simple, none of the crap you see on half of the figures nowadays. His accessory is one of the best ever; the wicked-awesome gray AK-47. His uniform is, of course, colored in the ever-menacing (vintage) Cobra blue. And the silver Cobra logo on the chest completes the package, bringing the figure to a nice close.

I love the fact that you can't see the face on the Cobra Soldier and the Cobra Officer. Granted, you can't see the faces on 90% of the Cobra forces, but hey...these were the originals. They fit nicely in any collector's army displays; the Officers more so, in my opinion. See, the Cobra Officers play a pivotal role in the Cobra army. They guide the troops. They're not your run-of-the-mill grunts; they're esteemed warriors with years of battle experience. They lead Serpentor's, (or Cobra Commander's, your choice), armies into the fight and (hopefully for Cobra) emerge victorious.

The mold, like I said earlier, is straight-foward. Thin torso, thin arms, thin legs. These Officers are rather scrowny individuals, now aren't they? The blue paint job is typical, nice and traditional. The helmets are a little wierd shaped, but they work fine. And the black balaclavas (how do you spell that?) work nicely into the terrorist idea. The silver Cobra logo is what I like the most about this figure. It [the silver logo] makes these figures stand out from any other in the entire Cobra forces. All in all, a nice figure...
