Adventure of the Seas
A view our our ship from a hilltop on St. Thomas
Wow! It’s so huge and yet it’s seaworthy!
A view looking into our room.
Our cabin attendant, Adrian, converted our bed into twins while we were at dinner our first evening.
Adrian also created clever designs made out of our towels.
We could lounge on the chair or sofa.
We had ample closet and shelf storage.
We also had a safe and a refrigerator.
We enjoyed the balcony either to relax or take pictures!
Our bathroom had storage cabinets behind the mirrors.
Our cabin was equipped for handicapped individuals.
This is the Guest Services desk. Did we tell you that Howie Mandel and his family were passengers? We saw him here one evening.
We visited the Windjammer for breakfast—if we didn’t have room service—or for lunch. We enjoyed sitting at a window for the view!
The dining area included three levels. Our table was on the fourth level—the Strauss room. So elegant!!!
We had to dress formally twice. It reminded me of the Titanic!
Adrian, the gentleman with the folded napkin on his arm, was our waiter. His selection recommendations were always top-notch.
Nancy was our assistant waiter. She always remembered what beverage we each had with dinner.
We were celebrating Doug’s graduation from Michigan State. We had champagne and cake from RC—they also gave each cabin a picnic basket for Christmas.
Here's the cake we enjoyed!
Here’s Grammie all dolled up!
Here Doug and Grammie pose before one of our formal dinners.
Here are Mike and Grammie.
Then we have Grammie and Chris.
Here’s another of mother and daughter!
Here are the two men in the family!
Mike found a secluded room with a piano. He practiced there, and we enjoyed some games of pinochle too!
Here he is playing.
Here we are gambling, but not for cash!!!
At the Midnite Buffet, we descended the staircase to view all the delights from ice sculptures & chocolate creations to delicious-looking creations.
Here is a suspended gingerbread house.
Santa is flying in on his sleigh.
This was one of many ice sculptures. They must have spent days preparing it all!
Some things looked too good to eat! Wonder if anyone did eat them!!!
Some really fancy-looking entrees.
So colorful!
Can that really be chocolate?
What detail! How beautiful!
Something we’ll all remember! Please view the photos from the islands.
