Message from the Graduate Advisor
On behalf of Beta Kappa Phi Fraternity Incorporated, I would like to welcome you to our website. I became aware of Beta Kappa Phi during my sophomore year at Eastern Michigan University. At first glance, I didn't see anything that would differentiate the Betas from any other fraternity on the yard at that time. It wasn't until I spoke with Brothers David Martin, and Mario Kennedy that I saw what Beta Kappa Phi was really all about.
Sincerely Yours Bro. Phil Lee Graduate Advisor Beta Kappa Phi, Beta Chapter
The members of Beta Kappa Phi are a group of men that are destined for success in the business world. While we are social fraternity, Beta Kappa Phi is a fraternity whose concentration is business. Beta Kappa Phi is an organization that is determined to uplift young men in the community, and prepare them to succeed in the business world. We do not promise to guarantee our members jobs, but we do guarantee that through our ranks, anyone that comes into the Land of the Midnight will be fully prepared to enter the business world.
Beta Kappa Phi is a non-hazing Greek Organization. We do not believe in, nor do we condone in the beating of men as a condition of membership. Beta Men believe in education the masses, and participating in community service. Beta Kappa Phi has volunteered it's time and energy into working with charitable organizations achieve a maximum amount of participation from the community. From helping students prepare for the MEAP, to volunteering for Detroit Projects, Beta Kappa Phi maintains a strong prescence in the community at large.
Beta Kappa Phi is by no means the largest African American fraternity, but we are a steadily growing organization and will be a dominant force within the next couple of years. I have learned a lot since I joined their ranks, about a year ago. I can only say, that I have become a better professional, academic, and social person since I crossed. I owe a great deal of my recent successes to Beta Kappa Phi. Beta Kappa Phi strives to make good men better, and I am living proof of that. I encourage all of you that are interested in joining a perpetually growing organization to take a look at Beta Kappa Phi. We don't rely on the traditions of other in order to grow. Our memebers are family. We support one anothers ideas for all things, from fraternal growth, to business opportunities. Come check us out for yourselves, and I guarantee that you will not turn away from what we have to offer. If you would like more information about who we are, or would like to start a chapter at your school, please leave me a message at Harlemnite@yahoo.com and I will be happy to answer all of your questions.
