Mme Émilie Lavoie Robitaille, qui a dans sa jeunesse bien connu Maurice Duplessis, a passé 75 ans de sa vie à Amos, en Abitibi. Pour le comédien, sa "Mimi" est une femme bien spéciale, celle qui a toujours su le comprendre et le gâter. "J'ai toujours été son préféré. C'est elle qui m'a offert ma première bicyclette et qui me payait une patate frite à chaque fois qu'elle me voyait. Elle a toujours été très présente dans ma vie. C'est une femme intelligente qui n'a pas peur d'émettre ses opinions. Elle a toujours eu beaucoup d'humour et a été la matriarche de la famille", a déclaré la vedette de Nikita.
