Lou arrive à sa chambre au centre de recherche…
Lou arrives to his room at the research center…
Roy : C'es-tu la première fois que tu viens ici? Moi, c'est la troisième fois… mais c'est la dernière fois! C'est trop débile!!
Is it the first you come here? Me, it's my third.. but the last one… it's too insane!
Scène / Setting
Lou et Roy sont assis à une table
Lou and Roy are sitting at a table.
Roy : J'suis presque guéris moi-là… j'devrais sortir d'icitte ben vite… Mais j'sus content… même si ça me tente pas ben ben de retourner sur le B.S…. mais pas l'choix hein! (Atchoum!)
I'm almost cured… I should be getting out real soon.. but I'm happy… even if I don't feel like going back on welfare… I don't really have a choice though (he sneezes!)
Lou : J'peux-tu te demander un service ? (Donne un chèque à Roy)… change-ça en sortant.
Can I ask you a favor? (gives Roy a check)… change this when you get out.
Roy : Fuck! Comment ça ce fait que t'as des gros chèques de même??!!
Fuck! How come you're making big money like that??
Lou : Tu donneras la moitié à mon ancien propriétaire… 100… non 150$ à Steve, un de mes chums… pis tu garderas le reste… OK?
Give this to my ex landlord… 100 no 150$ to Steve, one of my friends… and keep the rest… OK?
Roy : Quel genre de maladie t'a pogné?!
What kind of disease did you catch?!
Lou : Ché pas… mais ça commence à cogner! Tiens… les addresses… (il lui donne un papier)
Don't know… but it's starting to hit me hard! Here… the addresses (he hands him a piece of paper)
Une femme s'approche tranquillement d'eux…
A woman walks towards them very slowly…
Aube : J'aimerais ça mourir dans ma maison… étendue dans un prés à côté de quelqu'un qui m'aime beaucoup… j'me rappelle de mon père… quand il me racontait des histoires… j'demandais toujours la lune, la vraie! Il disait qu'une nuit, il irait la chercher, juste pour moi… Je suis contente de t'avoir connu (en regardant Lou…)… Si tu veux venir me voir… j'ai la chambre 26… c'est facile à retenir… c'est l'âge qu'avait mon dernier amant!! Il m'appelait… Aube… (elle se lève et regarde Lou)…
I would like to die in my house… lying in a field next to someone that really loves me… I remember my father… when he told us stories… I always asked to have the moon, the real one! He said that one night, he'd go and get it for me… just me… I'm happy to have know you (while looking at Lou)… If you want to see me again, my room is #26… easy to remember 'cause it's my ex-lover's age! He called me… Aube… (she gets up and looks at Lou)…
Lou : Aube?…
(Elle quitte / She leaves)
Roy : Ché pas c'qu'à poigné, elle, mais ça l'a cogné vraie!
Don't know what's with her, but it really hit hard for real!
Lou : Je l'ai trouvé belle.. moi… (il quitte aussi).
Me, I found her beautiful… (he leaves also).
Scène / Setting`
Roy parle à une femme médecin.
Roy is talking to a woman doctor.
Roy : J't'encore un peu malade.. j't'ais pas supposé de sortir juste vendredi??…
I'm still a bit sick… wasn't I suppose to only get out this Friday??…
Médecin : T'auras pas de problèmes… pas d'alcool pendant les 3 prochains jours (elle lui remet une bouteille de pillules).. une avant chaque repas!
Doctor : You won't have any problems… no alcohol for the next 3 days (she gives him a bottle of pills)… one before each meal!
Roy : Qué c'é qu'y a Lou? (en regardant Lou qui est couché sur son lit - sans bouger)… Y bouge pas depuis un boutte…
What's with Lou? (while looking at Lou who is lying on his bed - not moving)… he's not moved one bit for a while…
Médecin : Il récupère! Tiens, ton dernier chèque. (elle lui remet un chèque)
Doctor : He's resting! Here, your last check (she hands him a check)
Roy : Salut! (en regardant Lou)… Salut Lou… (il quitte et la femme médecin ferme la porte de la chambre)…
Bye! (looking at Lou)… Bye Lou… (he leaves and the woman doctor closes the door of the room)
Scène (dernière scène avec Roy) / Setting ( last scene with Roy)
Steve, l'ami de Lou tombe en bas de son lit… la sonnette d'entrée sonne…
Steve, Lou's friend was sleeping and falls down the bed… the doorbell rings…
Steve : Oui? (il est encore endormi)…
Yes? (he's still not completely awake)…
Roy : J'ai une enveloppe de la part de Lou… (il lui donne l'enveloppe et commence à siffler..)
I have an envelop from Lou… (he gives him the envelop and starts whistling..)
Steve : Lou ? (Il ferme la porte et va ouvrir la lettre…)
Lou? (he closes the door and sits down to open the letter
