Asimo is a humanoid robot created by Honda. Standing at 120 cm and weighing in at 114 lbs. And able to run at speeds up to 4.3 MPH. ASIMO was created at Honda's Research And Development Wako Fundamental Technical Research Center in Japan.
Wakamaru
Wakamaru was created by the development staff at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries incorporating advanced robot technology. "Wakamaru" is a robot created to communicate with people. All of "wakamaru's" features were developed to enable such communication.
AIBO
AIBO (Artificial Intelligence roBOt, homonymous with "pal" in Japanese) was one of several types of robotic pets designed and manufactured by Sony; there have been several different models since their introduction in 1999. AIBO was discontinued in 2006.
