Below is a photo of the Detroit 1 quilt square that is a part of the District 15 Zonta Quilt that was presented to the Zonta  International  Immediate President Val Sarah, at the 2000 Hawaii Convention.  The Model-A Ford depicted in the quilt square was manufactured in Detroit, Michigan in 1919, the year Zonta International was established.  The quilt square was designed by Detroit 1 Zontian and former Area 3 Director, Stephanie Thompson and created by former Detroit 1 Zontian, Sherilynn Kruger.  The entire quilt composed of squares created by the various clubs of Zonta International, District 15 is on display at Zonta International Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
