We are continually expanding this section to encompass valuable information about classic games in addition to the ROMs and Disk Images that can be found here. To play ROMs or Disk Images, you will need an appropriate emulator. Emulators can be found in our Emulators section. For more information on emulation, consult the ClassicGaming Newbie Guide. Our servers place a limit on the number of simultaneous downloads from the Game Vault. If this limit is reached, you will be unable to download. Your Web browser may return an error that makes it seem as if the file you requested does not exist. This is not the case. If this happens to you, do not e-mail us reporting that you can't download -- we already know about the server limit. Just keep trying to download your file and eventually you will get it. We are considering an enhanced system that will make downloading more convenient in the future. Why I can't find my favorite game? Can I download all of these ROMs in a single zip file? Can you e-mail a ROM to me? How does emulation work? These kinds of questions are answered in our Game Vault FAQ. Please take the time to read it. It is legal for you to download a ROM if you already own the game in another form (like a cartridge), or if the ROM is "public domain" or freely distributable, such as those in the Vectrex library. These ROMs will be clearly marked. NEVER distribute any of these ROMs or Disk Images with emulators, and DO NOT try to sell ROMs or emulators for profit. We are not responsible for any system damage or loss of time these ROMs may cause. We are not an emulator technical support service. Please do not send us any requests for technical assistance with ROMs or emulators; they will not be answered. Read the emulator documentation and consult our Help! section for assistance.
