If it isn’t hot enough in January, The Puerto Blues ’07 is going to turn heat up another notch or two, blues on the beach Puerto style. Four week of ass kicking, down and dirty blues spread out over seven weeks. All shows to be at the Caracol Plaza Hotel beginning at 8:30 and going to whenever. The headliners will be accompanied by the backbone of Puerto, the rhythm section of Paul “Marge Simpson” Lye on drums and Mike “Babyface” Facen on bass. At most dates Gene, Mr. Sax will sit in with the band.

`The Puerto Blues Fest kicked off last week and night afte rnight the momentum built! JACK DEKEYSER and DAVID ROTUNDO led the band to new heights with their dedicated love and exhuberance for the blues. Mike Facen(bass), Gene Stewart(tenor sax) and Paul Lye(drums) were ecstatically honoured to support such consumate performers. Special guest and world class drummer Hernan Hecht joined in for maximum reinforcement and jazz flavouring.`

The Ned Flanders Band rocking the Rockaway, also known as Three Guys Having Fun, but it always was more like six. They played arround PE and was shure lots of fun. Also ask arround as PAMPA is going to be back soon giving us a taste of latin rock and funky reggae. Check the links below in this page for more info.
Puerto received two precious gifts for xmas 2003 and New Year 2004! Joanie Griffin of Alberquerque N.M. was here with her son Augie and Hernan Hecht took a break from his busy schedule in DF. The results were 2 fun filled nights with soulful singing and blazing back-beat. The Puerto Rythmn Section is routinely blessed with visits from their growing circle of friends!
The Chilihuates were hot last season playing arround in Puerto Escondido and Zipolite a cool mix of rock-reggae-funk music. Jack de Keyzer playing in Puerto Escondido. This was a great opportunity to listen to one of the best guitar players in Canada, you can check out also Jack Dekeyzer home page to learn more about him. Also Peter Sabourin with his band SAB rocked the Puerto beaches, check out SAB's Page to learn about his great musical career.
