CHAMBER OF SECRETS BOARD GAMES

With time, this page will get bigger as Mattel released more Chamber related items later in 2002. Currently, all I have is toy preview info and images and very little on how these games are played.

Mattel previewed this Whomping Willow Game at the American International Toy Fair in February 2002. It is based on Ron and Harry's ill-fated landing in the title tree in the Weasleys' Ford Anglia. Players each have a turquoise Anglia as a game piece and must work to remove their possessions from the rampaging tree (suitcases, pet owls, etc.) Cost will probably be $15-$20.

Gnome Toss is a card game based on Harry and Ron's orders to remove the little wrinkled, brown creatures from Mrs. Weasley's garden. The package describes this as a "frenetic game of fast, flinging fun!" Apparently, this game went through a name change, too, because early photos of it showed "Gnome FLING" on the packaging. Price, $6.99.
