These next two photographs come with a warning. The Leaky Cauldron originally posted them but then doubted their authenticity as Chamber of Secrets filming and/or sets. Please keep that in mind as you examine them. While TLC questions their realness, they do appear to be from Harry Potter sets.
| Examine this restroom photograph (right). It looks like a washroom inside a castle. There is a torch-like light upon the back wall, and the sinks and mirrors have an old-fashioned appearance. It bears enough resemblance to the restroom the mountain troll trashed in The Sorcerer's Stone to suggest that this IS a Harry Potter set. The person who submitted it claimed it was Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, and the glow behind the door on the right was the Chamber of Secrets. That is impossible, as the Chamber is deep under Hogwarts. It instead could be movie lighting suggesting the corridor outside the lavatory. | ![]() |

Now, this has to be Privet Drive or a real look-alike street. Something is going on here, and it does look like a film crew setting up. There is a boom mike jutting out over the green umbrellas and blue canopy, and a director's chair in the driveway at center right. This is either the Privet Drive with the false front houses on the Leavesden Studios grounds. It also could be Picket Post Close, in Bracknell, England, which was used for some exterior work for the Privet Drive scenes. What also is not clear is whether this is filming for Sorcerer's or Chamber. |

| This next section presents a map showing Huskeiran Isle, a remote, uninhabited island where some filming will occur in April 2002. More than likely Huskeiran will be used as the setting for Azkaban. It is rocky, with sparse vegetation and windswept. It is off the coast of the Monach Islands, which is part of the Outer Hebrides, also called the Western Isles, of Scotland. | ![]() |
