A promise is a promise...
And friends we promised..

I dont break promises

Our story…

A guy and a girl both with completely different lifestyles first met the first year of high school, but hung around different crowds. No one bothered to get to know each other and just took it like an acquaintance. Two years later meeting better being in the same class, a friendship was hard to surpass. Little conversations started to begin and things were smooth flying. A few weeks later a newer and deeper friendship had formed. Under grave circumstances, one fell deep into a sadden state. The other was concerned with her new friend and felt it was necessary to bring him back up to a level where life was worth living. However things couldn’t work out perfectly fine because she was to be accused of being in the way of the relationship he was already involved in. The accusations and rumors started to grow. Everyone became tense. Eventually he broke it off with the girl he’d been with. He started to trust his new friend who seemed to have showed up at all the right times. He began to see things he never noticed before. Then one day during a project they were working on together, things started to change drastically. Some magical spark set off in both of them giving them the ability to see things so much clearer. The girl wasn’t scared like she’d usually be. There was something about this guy that she knew was different. She felt different. The guy felt different. They both knew at once that they fell for each other. It was like it was perfect timing. Things started happening fast after that. When he first asked her out, to her first kiss. Everything was magical, so detailed, so right. Things went so perfect for almost two months. There were arguments here and there, but in the end everything solved itself out. Until their two months. That day was almost the worse day of her life when she felt everything fall apart right before her eyes. Even though his attempts to rebuild things completely succeeded to a certain amount, she was never completely recovered from that fall to the ground. She was given a second chance to get back what she almost lost. The second chance she got, she tried her best, but then arguments started to break out all over again and she was caught up in frustration and confusion. Once those arguments settled down, everything for the guy was going downhill. He sacrificed many of his leisure things for better benefit, and nothing seemed to be working. Eventually, the last thing he could give up was that girl in his life. Knowing and having a feeling something like this would happen, she was already prepared for another crash to the ground. But of course, by believing this she was only fooling herself. No one could be prepared for something so heart breaking. Though, this time it didn’t seem to hurt that much. Or so it seemed to the outsiders who saw her. Deep down inside she knew that it was killing her. Especially when she was given apologies and consolation. She accepted the fact that friendship was the way she was suppose to go. Friends they promised. She accepted the fact that things were they way they were for the best of him. He regretted, she couldn’t go back, it wasn’t the right time. Both were hurting, both were denying. Time moved on, things changed and he got over her. She pretended she was over him by distracting herself with other things. She knew that unlike him, he was her first luv, and that she’d never forget him. He’d always have a place in her heart. It barely even started, yet ended so fast. Has the magical story ended? It has for him. Perhaps fate has a strange way of surprising you.
