Ritter Takes Inaugural N4 Race

The APRS opened up the Nascar 4 series Sunday Evening at Talledega. The race was scheduled for Saturday evening, but trouble did arise and the race was run on Sunday. If anyone was intending on being there but was not aware of the schedule change and would like a provisional for the race, please contact Don Miller. Regardless, there was a race to be run. Steve Ritter was able to keep his car on a rope and avoid all altercations and win the first event of the N4 Season. Please everyone keep in mind, that we are all learning the game, so let us all learn together and make it a fun experience for all of us. This was our first race and although we had a lot of fun, there is a need for improvement.

The N4 Division heads off to California, Good luck to all the drivers this week in all divisions.

Bully Johnson Whoops Them At Martinsville

The Winston Cup Division made its stop at the dreaded Martinsville horse shoe. Team Bully-Johnson definately had the cars to beat, Robby Johnson of Bully, led the most laps, leading 104 of the 175 laps run. Robby's Team Mate Bj Carter, also had a fast car and passed his team mate late in the race to record his 2 victory of the division. A great showing for both team mates as they moved up to 2 and 4th respectively in the points standings. Eddie Layton, although his car was torn apart from early race altercations, was able to come home with a 5th place finish and extend his points lead by 67 points. Steve Ritter, who was in second place in the standings, dropped down one spot to 3rd. After his early trouble, his car never did get up to speed, but he was able to stay on the lead lap and finish in the top 10.

The Winston Cup Division heads off to Talledega after a week off for the Easter Holiday. Happy Holidays and Good luck to all the drivers this week in all divisions.
