SnowStormGerbils started out
not intentionally, I started working at a petstore with my fiancee, Raymond.
I never held or had a gerbil when I was younger, I always had a hamster. I
fell in love with gerbils almost immediatly, I ended up taking two males home,
Cole & Splinter. As new gerbils came in from from suppliers, I met new
colors. I instantly took home Storm (dove female) & Snow ( PEW female).
I later placed Cole & Storm together and a month later beautiful pink
babies. Those pups started off SnowStormGerbils. Snow sadly died at the vet
office before Storms birth. She had a respitory infection, due to the litter
she was placed on at the petstore. She will always live on in "Snow"StormGerbils.
SnowStormGerbils is located in Holly, Michigan about 20 miles south of Flint. We currently have 3 active breeding pairs. Our gerbil population currently is around 70 gerbils, including breeders, pups, live-ins and rescues. We are a member of The American Gerbil Society. We have been raising gerbils for about two years now, and successfully raised around 8 litters. All gerbils are placed on either aspen bedding or carefresh bedding, depending on what the petstore has available. We have around 20 tanks, all different sized tanks ranging from a 40 gallon long to 10 gallons. We are always using our imaginations for gerbil toys. Raymond usually brings home extra tough cardboard tubes that the gerbils seem to go nuts for! Also our family seems to pool all there toilet paper tubes for our gerbils.
