Cordelia Llen Magic

A very beautiful girl saunters into the room her hips swaying as her long auburn hair blows lightly and brushes against the backs of her legs as she walks. Her deep brown eyes are so warm and inviting that you can't help but stare as she begins to speak.

Hello Im Cordelia Llen, but everyone calls me Cordi. I am the youngest girl in my family, and second youngest child. I was born with my brothers Darien and Ashton, and my sister Calla. I sometimes wonder how we where all born together but look so much different.

I believe I have gotten most of my traits from my mother. I have the Vampire strength and blood thirst, I can read and control the minds of others, and speed. I can move so fast a regular mortal would barely feel the wind move. I have learned the healing and fighting ways of the Llens, and now I am learning spells and other magics. I want to do more than what I was born for.
She then walks over to a handsome young man sitting alone at a table. She smiles warmly and then sits across from him. "Hello there, you look good enough to eat." She giggles gently and the young man smiles before speaking.

Cordelia met and fell in love with the Keeper of Death, Lazarus. They were together for a short time before Lazarus was killed after finding out he was not a Keeper by birth. Still being young Cordelia bounced back fairly quickly and has since not been serious with another man, although she flirts heavily and enjoys the company of the men she encounters.

One night a man walked into the wizards keep pub, his looks demanded Cordelia's immediate attention and she quickly made her way over to talk to him. His hair red was blood red and hung to the back of his thighs. His eyes crimson almost the color of flames. He wore a red cloak which was hooked to a chain from a gold collar around his neck and leading to a ring through his right nipple. He wore black leather pants, a gold chain around his waist holding his weapons. Her eyes danced over his well built chest and the tribal tattoo there.

It was not long after their first meeting that Damaskinos joined the DDM, her fathers clan. One night in the Keepers Haven Damaskinos came to Cordi's father and asked him for permission to court her. Now Cordelia is trying once again to get close to someone, still afraid of loss.

Before Damaskinos Cordelia had been very friendly with the men of the land and in doing so a few had given their hearts to her. She had not asked for them but they where given none the less and because of this she endured hardships.

Her first trial of patience was with a man named Angelus Darklight. He had been her friend for some time now and had told her that all he wanted of her was friendship. He gave her gifts of friendship including a necklace with the word Friend inscribed in it. One evening Cordelia and Damaskinos where in The Haven together and Angelus came to see Cordi. When he saw them together he fliped out and left. Cordi being a good friend and being conserned for him went to find him. She talked to him for hours and he nearly killed himself. His reason was that he was heartbroken because he loved cordelia and had waited too long to tell her. He had planed to tell her that night that he loved her and was going to give her a gift. When Damaskinos found them he took Cordelia away and Angelus became angry and extremely jealous. It was from that moment he started stalking her. The pain from her leaving with Damaskinos must have caused him to lose his mind because he started following her and begging her to be his friend or to just talk to him. This caused Cordi to become frightened and withdrawn as she didnt feel safe anymore. Everywhere she went he followed her. Eventually her father sent guards to speak with Angelus and let him know the consequences of his actions should they continue. After a while of not seeing him she finally began to return to her normal sassy self again.

Now back to normal she was able to focus on her relationship with Damask. In time Damaskinos and Cordelia where Married and started their life together with a trip to Black Paris. They traveled far and enjoyed each other fully on their two week honey moon. They returned to Ameris and the next night Damaskinos was gone when she woke. After the second night of waking without him she began to ask around about him and search Ameris for him.

Only 3 days later Cordi walked into the Haven to find it empty, not unusual for being so early in the evening. Almost immediately women started to come in until there where five of them. They looked angry and they began telling Cordelia that her father had ruined many womens lives and that she should stop him. Cordelia listened for a few minutes thinking it must be a mistake that she could clear up but they wouldnt listen to her and she eventually had to call the guards to remove them from the haven and to keep them away. She recieved a message later that night telling her that she was now a target and that she would be killed if she was seen away from her home and guards. This made Cordelia angry but she still went to the public tavern until she was attacked for the fifth time by the same person. She had never met any of these women or the people they sent to attack her and finally she began hiding again. Staying in the haven with the guards to protect her. She stayed there for nearly two weeks when she decided that she was going to go to the tavern even if they didnt want her there. She sustained some minor cuts and bruises but eventually the attacks stoped and the one person behind it appologized to her in person. It was nearly six months from the day they all first contacted her at the Haven until the appology and call of truce.

During this time when she had decided to go to the tavern even though she was a walking target, she came across Alexander or Demon as he was well known. She told him she was married and they could no longer be together, she had not even seen him since before she was married. He was angry and confronted her about their past relations. He asked her would she rather be with a king (talking of himself) or a mere advisor (Speaking of damaskinos). She told him that Damaskinos is a king in her eyes and that she wanted nothing more to do with Demon. This is when he pulled her to him and stabed her in the stomach, turning the blade as he pulled it out. He then began to belittle her and her family in front of the entire tavern. She held her hand over her stomach as she moved to him and tried to stab him in return only to be sliced across the arm and as she moved away a dagger was thrown lodging into her knee. She stayed in the tavern that night refusing to be bullied. Later Demon was speakign with another woman and Cordelia passed on words of warning before leaving the tavern.

It was a week after Damaskinos dissapearance that she was searching for him in a neighboring land. She was in a pub sitting down to have a drink when she was approached by a stunning man who's eyes where a blue color with an almost violet ring around them. His hair was black and hung in his face which had always attracted her. When he approached her she struck up a conversation and he bought her a drink. He was friendly and she felt she wanted to talk with him more. They walked outside to sit by a tree and talk where it was less quite as there was an all out brawl in the tavern. The man made advances on Cordelia which she didnt approve of and when she told him to stop he got more agressive with her. He lifted her skirt and went for her undergarments when she screamed and started fighting him. The scream caught the attention of some of the patrons who came to help her. In the fight was a mage a necromancer, an archer and more. During the struggle the man who was called "Malice" Managed to break her wrist after she clawed at his eyes. While he fought the others off she was fighting to get away from him. The struggle gained her many bruises and scrapes as she was now nearly half naked against the rough ground and stones. The more agressive her saviors got the worse he got. It came to a point where he pulled a knife on her and held it to her throat. She began to beg for the others to leave and save themselves. The mage was persistent and in a final attempt to stop the attacker the Mage put a protectiong spell on Cordi that would make him feel her pain. However before he could finish the spell Malice slit her throat and tossed her aside while he dashed off into the woods.

Those who had fought to save her came to her side and in seeing her throat gashed wide open they tried to heal her. The Magic used was a spell of light and the light it cast inside her nearly burned her from the inside out. It helped to heal her wound some and in the process it would cause a scar to be left behind that would normally have healed completely on its own. Her saviors discovered by her reaction that she was a vampire. What she hadnt known was that in this land Vampires where hunted and killed on sight. She was lucky that the man who tried to heal her was a priest and he took pitty on her as she had been the victim in this attack. The man carried her off to a place they called "The tower" and she would be judged when she was well enough. When judged they found her innocent and let her free with the warning that one body found to be traced back to her would cause her death. Cordelia left that land and returned to Ameris hoping her husband was back. She wore a scarf until her throat was fully healed and for some time after to hide the scar.

Damaskinos was still no where to be seen and none had heard or seen him while she was gone. She was begining to worry that he had been captured, or worse, killed. Knowing nothing better to do, she went to the tavern for a drink. While she was drinking away her sorrows she saw a purple skinned elf goofing around. He seemed almost rubbery and also seemed to be annoying people quite easily. He had tripped a man who was dressed as a guard of sorts and now the man was angry. The elf called himself by name and said "Akura sorry he didn't see you there." This guard on the other hand didnt seem to except that it was an accident and instead poked Akura hard in the chest telling him, "I have half a mind to beat you into the floor you idiot." The purple elf now puffed up his chest and stepped closer to the man holding up his fists as if to fight. The Guard was now furious that this creature was taking up his time and kicked his legs out from under him leaving the elf to land face first on the floor. Akura got up and tried to fight back but the guard continued to bully him. Cordelia decided that the guard being trained in war shouldn't be abusing the poor elf who seemed a bit dim witted. She stepped in just as the general was swinging his sword and though she dodged the blade managed to scratch her arm. a tiny trail of blood spilled down her arm and suddenly she felt weak. She watched as the elf hit the floor eyes wide open and full of fear yet unable to blink. She took an uneasy step toward the elf and as she bent to help him up she felt her knees hit the floor and then she toppled over. She was paralized by a poison that the guard had laced his sword with. As she lay unblinking she watched as the muscle bound guard plodded over and effortlessly picked up the elf by an ankle and then scooped her up in the other arm her upper half hanging over his shoulder staring at his back.

When she woke she found herself bound to a wall without her clothing with the elf just more than a foot away. The guard was sitting in a chair watching them and when she saw him he spoke. "You should have stayed out of my business milady but since you nearly cost me a servant now you will be my slave." He walked over to her and reached out touching her face, "Such a pretty girl, you are a prize worth more than any servant." He looked her over again and grinned, "oh yes I shall enjoy working you." His fingers slid over her face and down her naked side. It was only moments before she was unconcious again.

Eight days later she was tired, sore and nearly willing to die. The man had used her relentlessly while she begged him to kill her and then he whiped her until she blacked out. Her arms where tired and her wrists sore from the shackles, her legs could barely hold her up though she stood to keep her weight off of her already sore wrists. She had just woken from another bought of lashings when the Guard, who called himself "The general", had walked into the room. Knowing she was weak and tired he was sure she would not be able to run and thus he released her shackles. The minute her wrists where free her legs gave out and she crumpled to the floor. "Come now this wont due, you need to work off your debt." The general bent and reached down to her as if to lift her from the floor and Cordelia gathered every bit of anger and energy she had and thrust her fist up into his ribcage hard. A loud whooshing sound escaped from the man's mouth and a stale smell followed. He clutched his chest, his eyes wide and she rolled to the side and crawled away from him. She looked around the room to find a key to the shackles and quickly scrambled over to them. She freed the Elf who was very nearly dead, and carried him as she looked for an escape.

Cordelia made her way home slowly after having spent the night hiding in the forest and sleeping under a downed tree trunk. The healers of the family took care of the elf and he was good as new in no time. Cordelia on the other hand was growing angry with Damaskinos for leaving her and for not saving her from her captor. Every time she thought of it her eyes blazed. She became very easily pissed off and started wearing weapons everywhere she went. Her hair, once free to hang loose and blow in the breeze, was now always tied back tight in a braid and bound with leather straps. Every person who she thought intended her harm was addressed at the tip of her sword.

Nearly a month had passed since her escape and she was still carrying a dagger but the swords where gone and she began to wear dresses again. She was sitting in the haven when she heard a noise, familiar yet she couldnt quite place it. It was near, but not in the same room. She decided it must be an animal and then she caught it, the smell. She knew that smell, it was musky and almost smokey, Damaskinos. She ran up the stairs and to the balcony throwing the doors open she saw him standing there smiling at her as though nothing had happened. She walked directly up to him and slaped him hard across the face. "HOW DARE YOU leave me here alone to be raped and murdered."

His eyes widened and just as he opened his mouth to speak she wraped her arms around him squeezing him to her and kissed him deeper than he could have imagined. Tears flowed down her face and when she pulled away he wiped her tears with his fingers. "Don't cry Cordi, I love you and I never ment to be gone so long. I got a little side tracked." He put his hand to his side and winced a little and she realized he was hurt. He spent the rest of the night explaining how he got caught up in a war that was not his. She explained the events that had happened in his absence. One month later they found out Cordi was pregnant. Her first born child was a boy, Jaxon.

The three of them made a lovely family and Cordelia was very much in love with Damaskinos. She cared for Jaxon and Damaskinos worked to take care of all three of them. Eventually he was working so much that Cordelia started feeling abandoned. She began spending more time in the taverns again and making friends among the patrons. She would leave Jaxon with her mother while spending time with her new found friends. One of these friends was a man who was a king of another clan. This king was a sole leader of a kingdom and began trying to court cordelia telling her she should be a queen. She began to feel special again and once she had the feeling she couldnt let it go. Damaskinos was never home but to sleep and sleep was all he did. This king made her feel like a woman again and in turn she made him feel like a man. She began slipping out at night to meet him in the gardens and other hidden places. She continued her affair and hid it less, flirting in public and being seen going off with the king. Damaskinos had likely noticed something was wrong because he was demanding more of her as well. Instead of falling directly to sleep he wanted to love her and she enjoyed it. Cordelia sent the King on his way the day she found out that she was yet again pregnant. This time she gave birth to a daughter, with blood red hair from the day of birth, Jaiden.

Cordelia, Damaskinos and the two children lived in his palace among the clouds and while he was at work she would take the children to the DDM castle to visit the family. For three years Cordelia kept the palace in order and kept the family fed and tidy though she started to feel as though she had lost herself. While visiting the DDM castle she left the children with her mother and Calla while she went to talk with Gabriel. She explained how she felt lost, that she was missing something and felt empty. She loved her children but needed something more. When she began to cry he held her, smoothed her hair and kissed her tears away. She felt as though everything would be ok and she went on keeping her family and cleaning the house and visiting Gabriel and the family daily. The kids would play in the garden with their grandmother and she would slip into Gabriels study for a visit. Each time she would leave feeling again like a woman and content to keep her house and her family as long as she had her visits. Months passed and she started missing Gabriel while she was lying in her husbands arms. She missed his voice, his gentle touch and the warmth of his body against hers. These feelings she kept to herself however because she was with child, a girl. Jenna was born of auburn hair and haunting emerald eyes.
