Site Info

This site came to be sometime in the early months of 2001. I don't remember the exact time, but it's not really important anyway. All that matters is the site is here now, right?

It was created for no other reason than I wanted a place for the readers to read all of my stories in one place. When the site was started, that consisted of only the first chapter of On the Banks of the Beach, the first two chapters of First Day of School, the first chapter of Interview With a Quarterback, and Merry Christmas. The site was so horribly simple back in those days, as I'm sure you long time readers remember.

But in time, it grew, both in stories, and in other features. Eventually, over the almost 2 year span, it evolved to what it is now. In the beginning, and for a very long time, the site featured only my erotic stories. I'll admit that I was nervous about breaking away from the mold that made me, so to speak, and posting non-erotic material here at the site. But with the response you all gave for stories such as Memoirs and Captive Heart, my confidence grew, and erotica is really just a small part of what I do now. I owe that all to you, and all your support.

The original name of the site was "The Stories of Triple X." That lasted from the birth of the site until May of 2002 when wanting to separate myself from the Triple X moniker and to be known by my real name led to the site being renamed "The X Zone". That name lasted until March of 2003, when to commemorate the site's 2 year anniversary, it was renamed "Underneath the Stars", based on the song of the same name by Mariah Carey, who of course has been a huge influence in the stories and the site from the very beginning. The Underneath the Stars name was a brand new thing for the site, but the site design was a throwback to the old days, with the black and white star background from the original site design making its comeback.

I've been more successful with writing than I ever thought I could be when I made the site. Almost 20,000 visitors in under two years, that's certainly something to be proud of. Without that, I never would've been motivated to mold the site into it's current state. I can't thank all of you enough. I really do love you all. I thank you all so much for all your support for so long. And most importantly, I thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy whatever I may produce in the future.
