...Always Going to be There belongs to the wonderful and talented SandCassels. She doesn't have a lot up, but what she does is just awesome. She is responsible for one of the greatest images EVER, and it comes in her fic Earth Shattering Kaboom, in the form of a cross-legged, animal cracker eating Curtis Joseph. I still die every time I read that fic, I love love love it to pieces. Her great images don't stop there though; her fic The Two of Us provides another great one, with Mike Richter, Brian Leetch, and candy valentine hearts. I could sit here talking all day, and wouldn't do either of those fics justice. Read for yourself, you won't be disappointed, Kris rocks.
All These Words is the home of Rebecca. I bow to her greatness. Her writing is some of the most well written and unique fic that I have ever read. One great example of that is her fic Rebetiko. Words can't describe this fic. Everything about it is amazing; the thought process, her descriptions, her dialogue, it's all awesome. The same can be said about all her fic, and especially about one of my personal favorites How Do I Love Thee. In one word, this fic is beautiful. Descriptions, dialogue, imagery, everything. This one has made me cry, that's how beautiful it is. Check it out, because I could never do it justice talking about it here. I can't do any of her writing justice, really, so check it out for yourself. I love it all, and I bet you will too.
Angels in the Architecture is Chrissy's site. I could honestly talk about how awesome Chrissy is all day long, and still not convey how much I love her writing. Her fic Beautiful Child is one of the most spectacular things I have ever read in my entire life, and I'm not talking just about fic. Her characterization of the players in the story is just uncomparable. She has you connecting with even the minorest of characters. That story is simply incredible. And her Everyday/One Universe is amazing. The emotions you'll feel from that fic are just unbelievable. I can't say enough good things about Chrissy. Her writing is really one of the reasons I started writing hockey fic. She is just spectacular.
Come Around For Tea is the home of Bernie. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, Bernie is one of the best writers I have ever encountered on the net. Her writing is simply incomparable to anything else you'll find online. Her fics In Credit and Sundown are simply incredible. They are both written with such emotion, and such power, with a writing quality you HAVE to read for yourself. If I were making a list of the best fiction I've ever ready, regardless of genre, they could both easily be number 1. Bernie is simply amazing, go read.
Half Truths and Gorilla Dust is Alex's site. No words I could ever use would do justice to Alex's amazing ability. Her site is always under construction, but I highly recommend anything that she already has up. Her fic What a Good Boy is beyond words. The emotions you will feel in this fic will leave you drained it is so amazing. And her fic Behind the Penalty Box is some of the funniest stuff you'll ever read. Alex is such a spectacular writer, I adore her work.
Insert Kick-Ass Title Here is the home of Kris-Who-Is-Not-My-Sister-In-Evil, aka known as Vile Kris. She is a fabulous talent, read just a tiny bit of ANY of her stories and you'll be able to tell that. I especially recommend her fic Storms, it's just simply sensational. The imagery she uses, and the emotion in it is really just overwhelming in its greatness, it's impossible not to like it if you appreciate great writing. The same can be said for her fic Cowboy Porn but for a whole other reason; the YUM factor. Some of the yummiest images you'll ever find are in that fic, coupled with Kris' fabulous writing, it's awesome. You'd be doing yourself a big favor by checking out Kris' work.
In the Dreams of the Wicked is where you'll find Ara's fics. She writes in so many fandoms, anyone can find something that they'll like. Her writing is so incredibly descriptive, you'll really feel like you're watching a movie. And her smut, you'll be fanning yourself from its hotness by the time you're done. Her fics Eyes Wide Open and Higher are awesome examples of that. I highly advise checking out all of her work, you'll be hard pressed to find something that isn't great.
Mae is just amazing. She is a writing machine, I am so jealous. But don't go thinking for even a second that because she writes so often that it's not any good, because she is just spectacular. Her Edelweiss/Iris Universe is an emotional roller coaster. She writes the characters so real, you'll laugh, cry, and feel all warm and fuzzy in the same fic. Her fic Eros is beyond words in its awesomeness. If I were making that list of favorite fics, it would be a strong contender for number 1. I really can't express how much I love Mae's writing.
Makeshift Wings is where Robyn resides. She is so insanely talented. Her descriptions are some of the best I have ever read in my life. I could never even come close to writing so descriptively. Her fic Sweet Dreams is so incredible. Everything about it is so descriptive, you really feel like you ARE the characters. You feel every little emotion they do, it's unbelievable. And her fic Descending Angel is awesome. So descriptive, and so hot, I love that fic to pieces. I highly recommend everything Robyn has, she is just simply amazing.
Perchance to Dream is owned by Frala and AJ. I really can't put into words how much I love their writing. Frala's Happiness...Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch universe is just simply awesome. She pours so much emotion into it, you instantly connect with the characters. And this story really showcases why she's been dubbed the Queen Of Smut. Just simply awesome. And her fic Cue Cards, I can't even put into words how much I loved that fic. That fic really hooked me on Wrestle Fic, and she even made me like the Rock in this fic, so that tells you how great she is.
And AJ is just simply amazing. The effort that she puts into her fics is awe inspiring. Her fic Adam and Jay's Cross Canada Adventure is just spectacular. It's a long read, but it keeps you hooked through the entire thing. If I were to make a list of fics to recommend, it would certainly be at the top of it. And her fic Cold Is the Night is just awesome. If you want a good read, definitely check AJ out, she's awesome.
Rollerwriter's Fiction lives here. She is the author of the famous College Fic Party Hard for which I have written seven tags. Not all of College Fic is posted yet, but I will pester her on a nightly basis to post more of it. The characters in that fic are so inventive, and totally unique. Each one of them brings something different to the story, which makes it just totally awesome. And her Returning Series is spectacular. It's set in the future, and the way she writes everyone is classic. She's got a true talent when it comes to mixing humor, angst, anger, cuteness, etc. all in one fic, which makes her stuff an awesome read. Definitely check her work out.
Simple Words is Natalie's home on the internet. I cannot say enough about how great Natalie is. She has such amazing descriptions of scenery in all of her fic, and she conveys the emotion of her characters in such a way, you can literally feel it yourself. Case in point are her works Everything and Weak. Both of these fics are just flipping spectacular. From the first paragraph, you're connected with the characters. You feel all of their pain, their fear, their happiness, everything. They are in one word awesome. Her descriptions are really some of the best I have ever read. If I were making that favorite fic list, Everything would certainly be there. But there is so much else of her's that I just absolutely love. There is nothing on this site you won't like, she's just that good.
Walking On December is the home of the insanely talented SDQ. This girl's fic never ceases to amaze me. Her fic Fireworks remains to this day one of my favorite fics ever. The imagery in that fic is just amazing, and the thought process and dialogue is seriously spectacular. There is just nothing about that fic to dislike, it's simply awesome. And while speaking of awesome, there is no way I couldn't mention her fic The Four Seasons. It is the most unique hockey fic I have ever read, and undoubtedly one of the best. SDQ just rocks, plain and simple. If you want awesome fic, clicky clicky and read her stuff, all of it is awesome.
