My Info

I began writing online in November of 2000, after reading New To This State by Ardveche on EroticStories.com. This was my first real exposure to online writing, and at the time I really didn't realize what a following there was for it. I was instantly hooked on that story, though, and even to this day I can't get enough of Ardveche's writing. I can safely say without his writing, I never would've been inspired to try writing online myself. NTTS was my first exposure to "erotica", but also the story to make me realize that online writing wasn't all sex or fan fiction, that you could actually WRITE and tell a story, and have it read by thousands of people all over the world.

After reading NTTS a few dozen times, I decided to try my hand writing online. I never thought, nor will I ever think, that I could come near Ardveche's level of writing, but writing had always been a passion of mine, and I was anxious to get my work read by an audience of more than my friends or professors. I didn't dare try to write an epic for my first story, my main goal was to just to give it a shot in this different medium/different style. So with that in mind, I wrote my first ever online story On the Banks of the Beach and posted it on EroticStories.com.

I received a great response to that story, which looking back now it's kind of hard to believe, because I cringe when I read the original version of that story. But it was encouraging back then, and I decided to try my hand again at "erotica", and wrote First Day of School (Now called Petals.) To use the cliche, the rest was history after that. I received an overwhelming response to that story, and to Interview With a Quarterback, which followed up FDOS a day later. I was on a roll back then, and the encouragement I got from the readers fueled my writing along at a crazy fast pace. I couldn't believe, and still can't sometimes, the reaction I got for those stories, but it was enough to hook me. I've loved writing for online readers ever since the OTBOTB days.

FDOS turned into a successful series after that first chapter, and was really my pet project up until March of 2002, when I stumbled upon the world of hockey fiction. I dabbled into wrestling fiction in the meantime, to moderate success, and while wrestling fiction had a HUGE following, I never got that into it. My first wrestling fic was Anything Can Happen in the WWF, which while not much more than a smut fic, brought to life the "buddy fic" for me, in the form of the friendship between Jeff Hardy and Trish Stratus. I would use that aspect a lot in fic in the future, even with Jeff and Trish again in the future. The highlight of both that, and my wrestle fic writing would be There For Me. That fic was met with little reaction, but it remains a fic that I personally love. I had an absolute blast writing that fic, and one day I plan to re-write it and do justice to what I had wanted back then to be my epic.

In hockey fiction, I finally found my niche. Much like years prior, I didn't realize there was such a following for this kind of writing, but it turned out to be a bigger following for me personally than I ever had with original writing. My first hockey fic was the porn-corn epic Whore of Hockeytown, which I posted originally to the Nifty fiction site, then eventually onto the Hockey-Dreams group on Yahoo. It was on that list where I discovered the wonderful authors that were writing hockey fiction, and much like I had with Ardveche's New To This State, I found a story that inspired me to a whole new level. That story was Beautiful Child by Chrissy (now called Clumsy).

Through Chrissy's writing, and the writing of several other phenomenal talents the hockey fic world had to offer, I got the inspiration to write my first REAL series, Captive Heart. The remains my trademark fic in hockey, and one I truly enjoyed writing the whole way through. That story really allowed me to expand myself as a writer, and having a place like Hockey-Dreams to post it allowed me to GROW as a writer with the help of the wonderful writers I found myself surrounded by there. That story was by far the most successful I had written online to that point, and firmly entrenched me to fandom, and most especially hockey, writing. I haven't left since.

As life has gone on, the amount of writing I've done has declined dramatically, but I still maintain the same love for it that I ever did, when I actually do it. The biggest difference between Triple X circa 2000, and Triple X circa 2008 is I tend to be more "quality over quantity" now. When I have a story to tell now, I make sure to take the time and tell that story completely, to the best of my ability. I'm still fortunate enough to enjoy success with that way, and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I'm a much better writer now than I was with On the Banks, There For Me, and even Captive Heart. Writing is still a passion for me, and online is still where I can express that passion. I can't see that ever changing, even if the work I post is few and far between.

I want to thank everyone who has ever read my work, sent me feedback good or bad, or even visited this site just to see who I am. You all have meant a great deal to me over the years, you've made my passion all the more enjoyable just by being there. I truly, truly hope that you enjoy whatever it is I may post in the future.

Love eternally,

Triple X
