Professor Severusa's SEVERUS SNAPE Shrine

Professor Severusa's SEVERUS SNAPE Shrine
Welcome to the world's first fan page devoted totally to Severus Snape of JK Rowling's "Harry Potter" series! I know many of you out there are probably wondering why on Earth I would build a page in honour of someone who is seemingly so antagonistic, but I tell you, there are reasons for my madness.

Personally, I think that Snape has great potential to be a very, very strong and memorable character-much like a Darth Vader type-someone you just can't help but to adore despite their quirks. Plus, Severus makes such a great subject for fan fiction, especially a gothic novel of some kind! I really believe that Ms. Rowling has great things in store for Mr. Snape, especially since there are rumours flying regarding a potential romance... I am willing to bet that by the time the seventh book is completed, Severus will be either a respectable or pitiable character-maybe both. The epitomy of an anti-hero :)

Just so you know, I am in no way, shape, manner, or form affiliated with JK Rowling or Scholastic INC...And please, PLEASE do not remove anything from this site with out asking first, as it's not your property to take-I wouldn't go taking anything from your site without asking first, now would I???

Now that I've said all that, feel free to email me with questions, comments, or suggestions. Thanks and have a great day! :)
  • That dark demeanor of his

  • Who could forget the nose????

  • He wears a lot of black.

  • He definately has a lot of secrets-why else is he so angry and mean??

  • I think he'd make the perfect main character to some kind of gothic romance.

  • He's not all bad-he DID save Harry from Quirrell at the Quidditch match you know!

  • Okay, so he is somewhat vindictive and unforgiving...but being so dark and brooding makes him all the more romantic!

  • I think that underneath all of the nastiness, Severus needs something-like all of us do.

  • The potential he's got to become a Phantom of the Opera like antagonist...frightening, yet pitiable at the same time-those are the best kinds...

  • His first just fits.

"When the moon on a cloud cast night
Hung above the tree tops height
You sang me of some distant past
That made my heart beat strong and fast
Now I know, I'm home at last...

You offered me an eagle's wing
That to the sun I might soar and sing
And if I heard the owl's cry
Into the forest, I would fly
And in its darknes find you by...

And so our love's not a simple thing
Nor our truths, unwavering
But like the moon's pull on the tide
