I've learned that unless you find what it is within,
you can't find what it is that will set you free,
to be all you have the capability of being.

Not knowing only keeps you from your true potential.
It makes you doubt not only
those around you but also yourself.

It keeps you from giving yourself completely,
from trusting decisions you make
and the possibility of losing a part of yourself,
that if you're not careful, could disappear forever.

Bottom line is...you have to like who and what
you are before you can expect others to.
There will never be a time when everyone
will like or want you but as long as you
have respect for yourself, give of yourself the best
you can having faith, trust and confidence in
who you really are others will see
what it is you truly have to offer.

Then and only then, can you be set free
to love as life was meant for two to experience,
catching the light that will shine brightly,
guiding and protecting that which you share.

May all that visit find the love,
strength and shining light
which is waiting to be captured.
