Let this be known that this takes place seven years after The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time.

Link and Zelda collapsed onto the ground, laughing hysterically. Navi had just told a funny joke, which she normally didn't have a good sense of humor. Link and Zelda playfully teased her. "Knock it off!" Navi cried after many minutes. Link just laughed at her. Zelda stood and wiped the dirt and grass off on her dress. She looked at the clock that know stood by Hyrule Castle Town Market. "Oh no! I told father I'd be present!" Zelda cried, running off with Link and Navi following her. They ran all the way until they came to the castle. Link went in with Zelda, followed by Navi. The King was busy talking with Impa. "Zelda! I told you to be back here an hour ago!" The king said angrily. Zelda put her head down in shame. "It was my fault, your majesty. We were having so much fun we lost track of time," Link apologized. The king rubbed his beard thoughtfully. "Very well, then. Come, Zelda." The king pointed to her throne. Zelda turned to Link. "See you tomorrow?" She asked. Link nodded and watched as she took her place in her throne. Link walked out of the palace sadly. He looked through the window Zelda use to look into. He saw her lean over and kiss him on the cheek. Zelda seemed so happy. Link couldn't remember his family... at all. His mother had been injured badly, by some evil person, or so he thought. Kicking at the dust, Link walked from the Market sadly. Ganon had escaped the Evil Realm. Once again, he would take over the castle and get that bratty princess out of the picture! As for that foolish boy, Link, oh, he'd take care of him later. Ganon smiled happily to himself. He'd just escaped the Evil Realm, and was now in the Temple of Time. He slowly walked out of the Temple, the Triforce symbol on the back of his hand. He stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed Link, the Hero of Time making his way to the Temple of Time. Ganon shrieked like a school girl and hid behind a bush. Link stopped upon hearing the shriek. It sounded like a woman. Link looked around but when he saw nothing but a green bush, he kept walking to the Temple of Time. He stopped in front of the alter and sat on his knees. He started whispering a silent prayer. "Din... Nayru... Farore... creators of Hyrule... I ask thee a favor," Link began, his voice low, when suddenly he heard a loud CRASH! He stopped his prayer, and turned to run out of the Temple. He ran out, only to find his enemy waiting for him. Ganon clumsily held his finger in pain. "Stupid kid!" He cried angrily, sucking on his thumb. Link rubbed his eyes as if he were in a dream. Was he really seeing his old enemy? Ganon noticed Link standing there. "What's the matter with you? Haven't you ever seen a Master Mind escape the Evil Realm before?" Ganon asked through a laugh. Link held his sword firmly in his hand and charged at Ganon, but not quick enough. Ganon snapped his fingers and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving Link puzzled. Link set off on Epona, searching for Ganon and the truth to his past.

Link had flashbacks of his past. He remembered a little of his mother... he remembered her holding him in her arms. "I love you Link..." she said as she smiled down at her baby son. Link shook his head to get the thought out of his mind. Who had killed his mother? Did he have any family? He walked around, looking at the sky. He needed to know if he had family. Surely there was family somewhere in Hyrule. As for Ganon, he'd kill him when he had the chance. He silently leaned up against the tree in Lon Lon Ranch. He let out a loud sigh when he heard Navi flying nearby. He looked up and smiled at his fairy. "Hiya, Link!" She said as she waved. Link waved back at her in a depressed manner. "What's wrong?" Navi asked. "My mom... I just want to know if I have family..." Link trailed off. "I don't have a family... I'm an orphan." Link sad sadly. Navi comforted him, until a girl sat down by him. "Zelda!" Link said in a surprised tone. She nodded slowly. "Yes, its Zelda." She told him. "I'm going to leave Hyrule," Link told her. "What?" Zelda shrieked. "I have to find my family... people that really love me!" Link explained. Link's business became a big fight in which Zelda threw grass at him. "Fine then! If you hate me so much leave Hyrule!" Zelda cried as she ran home."Maybe there is a family that loves me out there... more than Zelda Saria and the others love me," Link said sadly. "Zelda loves you!" Navi cried. Link shook his head. "I'm leaving," he told her as he got his ship ready and prepared to leave for another island and search many islands and find a pretty girl that wasn't spoiled rotten like Zelda. But suddenly many moblins attacked and captured him.

"Congratulations! Now that my task has been taken care of you've gotten a raise!" Ganon cried to the moblins. They all smiled, thinking they'd be paid more. "To the fire pit!" A pit opened and sucked the moblins in, killing them. Ganon looked over at Link who was shackled to the wall and was desperately trying to get away. "Your turn is next," he cackled.

Zelda woke up the next morning with a sigh. She hoped Link had made it to the place he was going to. The ocean could be quite violent. She ran downstairs, only to be stopped by Navi. The fairy's clothes were all ripped up and she was quite dirty. "Zelda! .........Please.... listen to me...." Navi replied, all out of breath. Zelda waited for her to start speaking again. "Something.... terrible has happened..." She continued. "And?" Zelda asked, trying to make her speed up and finish the story. "Ganon... Link.... gone," The fairy explained. Zelda gasped and charged down the stairs.

Link glared at Ganon. "My boy, your time is drawing near," Ganon laughed as he sat in a chair in front of Link. "I will die someday, but not at your clutches, pig." Link had said before he realized what he was saying. Ganon immediately turned to him. "Pigs are much more intelligent than pathetic little Hylians like you!" Ganon cackled. Link spat in his face. Ganon wiped it off and glared at him. "Your life was just cut down by twenty minutes!" Ganon cried angrily. "That means your time is now!" Ganon cried as he unshackled Link from the wall...

Zelda rode quickly on her white horse. She could not let Link die. She loved him, and although he might've known it, she wasn't going to admit it... although Link already knew. Soon she came to a crack in the ground. "Where does this lead to?" Zelda asked, turning to Navi. Navi just shrugged. But the crack was made larger and Zelda fell into it. It was obviously a short cut to Death Mountain Crater. Zelda heard two voices chatting. She peeked around the corner, and she could see two people. One boy trying to fight his way free, and a green man fighting the boy. Zelda recognized these two as Link and Ganon. "Be careful, Zelda." Navi told her as she flew by Zelda's side. Zelda pulled her dagger from her pocket and charged at Ganon. Ganon turned around, giving Link enough time to fight back. Ganon just shoved the frail princess aside and turned back to Link. He picked him up and threw him, and Link hit the ground hard. Zelda ran to his side. "Link, Link are you okay?" Zelda asked. Link pretended he was dying. "Dying...kiss me." He told her as he puckered up. Zelda slapped him and went after Ganon. But unfortuneately, Ganon pretended to die and disenagrate. "Yah! He's dead!" Navi cried out happily. Zelda and Link kissed, which they enjoyed very much.

As they made their ways back to the castle, they couldn't help but celebrate. A party was held, where wine was served. Zelda and Link danced until they could dance no more, it was such a happy occasion.

Ganon peered in the window Zelda use to look into. He could see Link and Zelda dancing, both so happy he couldn't stand it. Ganon broke the window and jumped into the castle. No one heard the glass shatter, and Ganon stepped right into the Dining Hall, where everyone happened to be having the party. "I have not died yet, you fools!" Ganon yelled at them. They all turned, horror on their faces. Link and Zelda stopped dancing and turned to face him. Zelda had a look of horror on her face as well. Link's face was expressionless. Ganon made his way to Zelda, but Link stopped him from reaching her. Ganonm picked him up effortlessly and threw him against a wall, knocking him out. He picked up Zelda and made his way out of the castle with no trouble. People went to check on Link, and Navi looked out the window where she saw Ganon leave with Zelda. "He's gone," Was all she could manage to say.

After a couple of minutes, Link woke up in the castle's spare room bed. Impa was sitting by his side watching over him "Where's Zelda?!" Link jumped out of the bed looking around nervously, "she's gone, we sent Navi looking for her" said Impa. All of a sudden Navi flew in, she was panting and couldn't speak, Link laid her on his hand "where's Zelda,Navi??" "I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find her, Death Mountain... all the gorons...were there.. they cleared.. out... everything...nothing was there" she couldnt take it any longer, her wings dropped and her light went out, Link told Impa to take care of her, she only fainted. Link shut his eyes and tensed up, he ran out of hyrule castle and jumped on Epona all he could think of was to check everywhere in Hyrule, he wasnt going to let Zelda down. He arrived at Lon Lon Ranch and saw Malon grooming the horses, she turned around and gasped, Malon ran to Link and hugged him. Malon noticed he was tense, she let go and asked "What's wrong?" "It's Zelda, she's gone" said Link "by who?" Link looked down and said "Ganon" "Oh my he's back?" Malon gasped,If I see him I'll tell you right away" she kissed Link on the cheek and whispered "Good luck." Link gave her a thumbs up and rode off.

In Ganon's hideout Zelda was shackled to a wall, screaming and kicking trying to get free, "aahhhhhh let me go you ugly pig!!" Ganon turned around and snarled at Zelda "you little brat shut-up, I'm trying to think of what to do to your foolish boy, make him suffer by watching you die, kill him, I just don't know" Zelda gave him the evil eye and said "you do anything to Link I will kill you", Ganon went up to her and punched the wall right beside her face, Zelda jumped up and whispered to herself "how pathetic."

Meanwhile Link went to zora's domain, kakariko village and was going to Kokiri forest now. He went to Mido's house and saw him doing something, he touched Mido's shoulder and asked "Have you seen Saria?" "She's in the usual spot Link but only for a couple of minutes, Saria came to check on the deku tree sprout" said Mido, "thanks Mido". He found Saria playing her ocarina when she looked up and saw him "Hiya Link what's up?" "Ganon took Zelda and I'm looking around to see if she's here? "He's not here for sure I came and checked, and he's not in Death Mountain is he?" asked Saria, Link shook his head and said "I don't know where to go." Saria paced back and forth then lifted her hand " Ah ha! I got it, go to the spirit temple, maybe he is envading Nabooru's place""Exactly, she's second in command why didn't I think of that, thanx Saria". She nodded her head and played the requiem of spirit with Link of course she warped to the chamber of the sages.

When Link arrived to the spirit temple all was quiet, he started to worry, where was Nabooru when all of a sudden "Ahhhhhhhhh what are you doing here?" "Hahahaha" Link knew that laugh from anywhere. He quietly turned a corner and saw Zelda and Nabooru shackled, "I'd rather die somewhere else then die in your hands you good for nothing gerudo theif!!!!" said Nabooru, Zelda agreed and spat in Ganon's face. Ganon grabbed Nabooru's chin "you listen, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even be second in command so your the worthless one hahaha!" Link quietly walked behind Ganon when he noticed something on his hand, his triforce was glowing "Ah foolish boy we are all together now, you should've known your day would come to die!!" Zelda started kicking Ganon "nooooo leave him alone!! "Shut up you little brat" said Ganon, he lifted Link by the neck off the ground and squeezed it real hard so Link would choke. Nabooru shut her eyes and called the sages" please 5 sages help me be free" six colours shone around the shackles and snapped them in half, she quickly unshackled Zelda and said "Ha you underestimated my power Ganon." They ran to Link, but Ganon hit Zelda back knocking Nabooru down, Link made his last struggle and then passed out, Ganon threw him into a deep pit not knowing where Link would go "goodbye Hero of Time."

Ganon turned to Nabooru but didnt notice Zelda was gone, she snuck behind him and dove in the pit for Link, she noticed the water down at the bottom and saw Link slipping down in the water quickly. Nabooru fought Ganon, but since Ganon thought he once and for all killed Link he disappered and was no where to be seen. Nabooru gave up on him and grabbed a large rope, she attached it to a statue and threw the other end of the rope in the pit. She couldn't see Zelda or Link, but still waited Zelda found Link and started bringing him up, she knew he had no air and she thought for one moment. She quickly pulled herself and Link up and grabbed the rope, Nabooru pulled as hard as she could. After they got up Link was still not breathing, "someone has to do mouth to mouth and give him some air" said Nabooru, Zelda looked at Link and knew she would regret this, but she did it, Link started coughing out water and woke up, he opened his eyes, looked at Zelda and said "again" Zelda gave him a disgusted look and walked out the temple. Nabooru left to her room and Link went to catch Zelda. He saw her sitting at the sand waiting for him "thanx" he said and kissed her on the lips which both he and she enjoyed, Zelda got up and kissed him back. Link held his hand out with the ocarina in the other, Zelda shrugged and held his hand. Link played the prelude of light and warped to the temple of time. They walked to the castle and kissed again, "see ya tomorrow?" asked Link "tomorrow" said Zelda and walked to her room. What they didn't know is that Ganon was watching them cackling loudly not knowing what he had in mind for them next.

Ganon sat from a tree, watching the Hero of Time through a window in the castle. Link stepped out and started walking home. It was night out, but Link loved taking walks at night. It was so peaceful. Ganon followed him, and disappeared when the boy turned around. Link stopped suddenly. "I can feel a dark energy..." Link whispered, more to himself than anyone else. "Good guess, kid." Link turned around. A knight stood behind him. "Son, should you be up this late?" The knight asked. The knight was actually Ganon in disguise. "I was just walking home," Link said, pointing to Kokiri Forest. "Hahaha! A Hylian living with the forest kids? That's the funniest thing I ever heard!" Ganon laughed. The laugh was kind of sinister, causing Link to back away. "W-who are you?" Link asked through a stammer. "It doesn't matter who I am. I'm talking about you!" The knight said. "Young man, you're coming with me." Ganon grabbed his arms viciously, and whispered in his ear. "Looks like you lost this time," Ganon removed his helmet, revealing his true identity. Link gasped. Many moblins and other animals held his legs, arms, and head in one place. "Somebody, help! It's Ganon!" Link cried out. Ganon just laughed. He then walked up to Link. "Your time has come..." Ganon said as he raised his sword to Link's chest level. Link breathed in heavily. Ganon then realized he had a plan. He let Link go, and the boy killed his creatures. Link stepped up to Ganon, with an angry look on his face. Ganon pretended to be scared. Link stabbed him, which he thought was his heart point. He had actually stabbed Ganon in the arm. Ganon pretended to die and wither. Thinking it was safe, Link headed home. Once inside his house, though, Link heard Saria scream. "Saria?" Link asked as he started going toward his door. "Ha ha, foolish boy. I have not died yet... therefore, you will never leave that tree house again!" Ganon cackled. A piece of metal covered Link's door and windows, and there was only a tiny crack allowing him to get air. He could hear Saria screaming as every second passed by, but he couldn't even get out of his house. How was he going to save her? He pulled the Ocarina out and played "The Song of Sages" Rauru started speaking. "Young Link, what's wrong?" He asked. "First of all, I can't get out of my house. Second of all, Ganon is back. Third of all, Ganon has just done something to Saria. Can you help me get out of my house?" Link asked. "Stand back," Link backed up and watched as the metal melted right in front of his eyes. Link stepped out and looked around. Everything appeared normal. He slowly walked into Saria's house. "Saria?" He asked slowly. Saria came from no where. Her eyes glowed red then they turned normal. "Saria, what's the matter with you?" Link asked, starting to get afraid. "Nothing, I just realized how much of a good man Ganon is, you should get to know him," She replied. Link backed away. "You aren't the Saria I know. You're the evil Saria." He said. Saria started giggling. "Right on the nose," Link turned to run, but found Saria's house sealed off. Ganon appeared from no where with a potion. "Drink it down, boy." he replied as he stuck the bottle straight into Link's mouth forcing him to drink the potion...

Zelda suddenly had an uneasy feeling. She was laying in her bed, wide awake. Something was bothering her, but she couldn't figure out what. Had she forgotten to do something? She thought for a moment, scanning through all of the things she had done that day. She hadn't gotten one thing wrong. Or was it Link? Why would she be worried about him? He could take care of himself. Zelda thought he was safe because Ganon was gone...

As Link was forced to drink the potion by Ganon, his body began to glow a very dark red. After Link had stopped glowing, he felt an evil urge to destroy Princess Zelda. Back at the castle,Zelda was still thinking about what she had forgotten when she heard a soft knocking at her door. She opened the door and there fluttering around all out of breath was Navi. "Princess Zelda, Ganon has Link!", said Navi. "That's impossible we destroyed Ganon", replied Zelda. " Yea, I know but somehow he's back and he has Link", said Navi. Zelda ran outside and got on her horse. With Navi leading her, Zelda got to Kokiri Forest by midnight. She checked Link's house, but he wasn't there. Then she went to Saria's house, but the door was sealed. She used her Triforce magic to break the seal. When she got inside, there was Link and Saria, both of their eyes glowed red. Zelda gasped as Saria and Link broke the shackles that they were in. Link took out his Master Sword and Saria got her sage magic ready. Zelda walked up to Link and looked deep into his red eyes. " Link, don't you remember me", said Zelda. Link eyes turned back to normal and he shook his head. They both turned to Saria. Suddenly, Ganon appeared next to Saria. The battle raged on for hours until finally Link and Zelda were able to send Ganon to a realm in Hyrule where he was never heard of and had no powers. Link and Zelda used both of their magic to turn Saria back to normal. Zelda and Link walked back to the castle. Zelda went inside but Link made a nice little bed of grass. When Link was half way asleep he was taken away by moblins. Link yelled and yelled but no one heard him....they were allasleep. To Be Continued.........

Link was carried off to the Temple of Time. The moblins looked up and told Din, Nayru and Farore that if they didn't teleport them to the realm in which Ganon was in then the moblins would destroy Hyrule. The godesses had no choice because Zelda lived in Hyrule and she held part of the Triforce.

Zelda awakened the next morning and walked to her mirror and started brushing her hair. As she did she loked out of the window and expected to see Link looking up at her but instead she saw his grass bed in a wreck. She got dressed and ran outside. She had no idea what could have happened. Ganon was gone for good so what could have taken Link? Zelda suddenly gasped. "Moblins!", she cried. She ran to the Temple of Time to ask Din, Nayru and Farore what had happened. The godesses said that they teleported the moblins and Link to the same realm that Ganon was in. The godesses then teleported Zelda to the realm. "Now the tough part comes...finding Link", she said to herself.

Link moaned in pain as Ganon cut him with his Master Sword. "You'll never get away with this Ganon", yelled Link. "Oh, I think I will Hero of Time because you see I have set up a little plan for your little girl friend", said Ganon as he made a screen appear. On the screen was a pictue of Zelda slowly dying by poison that was being injected to her by 6 moblins and Ganon. Link screamed and kicked but it was no use he couldn't break free. All he could do was wait. Zelda walked through Death Mountain Crater looking for Ganon but he was no where to be found. She looked up at a hole in the crater. It was getting late. She walked farther and then suddenly she fell into a deep hole. When she finally hit ground, she was surrounded by moblins followed by Ganon. All of them had injectors filled with poison. They all put the needles into Zelda's skin and Ganon began the countdown. "3....2....1...hey what the",said Ganon as suddenly Nabooru appeared. Nabooru fought off all of the moblins and then turned to Ganon. As Nabooru and Ganon fought, Zelda snuck into the room where Link was being held. She broke the shackles and Link ran to fight Ganon. Nabooru and Link kept hitting Ganon as Zelda held him still with her magic. After Ganon was too weak to battle any more, Link and Zelda sealed Ganon in the Temple of Time which was in the realm that he was never heard of. They teleported back to the castle. At the drawbridge they kissed. Little did they know that at that moment, Ganon was making a plan to escape from that realm and kill Link and Zelda. To Be Continued........

The stars twinkled in the sky, shining down on the houses containing weary people. Link had returned home in Kokiri Forest, and Zelda stayed in the Castle with her father and Impa.

That night, Link kept his eyes open, looking up at the ceiling. He wasn't tired at all, and if you aren't tired, why rest? The other Kokiri were asleep already, and the only thing to be heard was owls hooting. Link sighed. It doesn't feel like our troubles are over. There's something that we've either misunderstood or didn't realize... Link thought. What was he and Zelda missing? Finally, from boredom he fell asleep.

Zelda awakened early the next morning with a sigh. She could hear the people in the castle moving along with their daily chores. Zelda got dressed, and then went downstairs. She walked past a painting of a world that seemed familiar to her. The trees all looked dead, and something, a person, was standing behind a dead tree, which looked like the person in the painting was glaring at her. It frightened her when she saw it's eyes move, and she quickly dashed away. The man in the painting, a red eyed, green skinned and orange haired man snarled, and then closed his eyes.

Link woke up early the next morning with a yawn. He could hear the busy calls of the Kokiri outside. "Peekaboo! I see you!" He could hear one Kokiri yell. He stepped outside out into the fresh air.

"Ahhh...so peaceful without Ganon!" He thought. But soon, he didn't know that that thought would vanish into the air.

Link rode to Hyrule Castle and he came to Impa. "Where's Zelda?" He asked.

"She's shut herself up in her room. She said something about a picture that moved or something." Impa explained. Link thought for a moment, then dashed to Zelda's room.

"Zel, open up! It's me! Tell me what's wrong." Link said, knocking on the door.

"No!" Zelda cried stubbornly. Link eventually managed to pick the lock and he found himself in her room.

"Sorry to intrude on you, Princess."

"Go away!" Zelda cried, hiding her head under her pillow. Link thought of this as something a small child would do. He took the pillow away from her and sat at the edge of her bed.

"Come on, Zel." He whispered sweetly.

"Okay, okay. I was walking, through the hallway, and I saw a familiar yet unfamiliar world painted...it was part of a painting. I saw a dark figure, it's eyes moved...and it looked at me," Zelda replied.

"Nonsense!" Link cried.

"I didn't want to tell you because I knew you wouldn't believe me," Zelda cried.

"It's not that, I do bel-"

Suddenly a guard broke into the room, and he looked around frantically. "Oh thank Heavens! The Hero of Time is here! Listen, carefully and wisely," said the guard.

"Okay, what's wrong?" Link and Zelda inquired.

"Well, a figure came out of the painting and now he's running through the Castle causing chaos. We need your help to get rid of this evil monster!" Link turned to Zelda. "You...You weren't lying," Link mumbled to her. He stood up and ran out of the room.

Link arrived in the kitchen, and quickly grabbed a sandwich to eat. He had seprated from Zelda just a few moments ago, she was probably getting ready also. Link had almost all of his weapons equipped. Link ran out of the Castle, and mounted Epona. He groomed her quickly, and without a moment to lose he rode off on her. Will Link find the creature from the painting? Will Link succeed in the battle? Tune in for next time.
