4-30-00 Alright, you can all go and cry like the little babies that you are, just like me! Here's the bad news that I just received about Gaiden-- Stalkid turns you into a Deku Scrub, or at least, something that closely resembles one. All throughout the beginning of the game, you'll only be a Deku Scrub, and, which makes the game tougher, the place you're in, the people here don't take a likin' to Deku Scrubs. Don't expect to get a lot of info from these people here. Also, the people here are just...weird. Along with the moon crashing down and all.
This is my Zelda Gaiden section! As many of you may have already heard, there has been rumors that there is a new Legend of Zelda game. Sites on the Top 50 sites keep saying its coming out, but I haven't heard anything from Nintendo. What do you think? Fact or fiction? Thanks to Slim Shady's Z64 central, we have Gaiden images! Within time, I'm sure they will make the game better and release better images of the game. (For instance, In Ocarina of Time, the Great Deku Tree's nose use to be red in the beginning of the production!)
People on the internet are trying to get us all mixed up. Some say Gaiden is coming out, while other say it isn't. Some say it's going to be released in early 2000, and others think it'll be out in 2001. What to believe? I tell you, no one knows whats going on! Only nintendo! The release date in Japan for the Legend of Zelda: Gaiden is on March 2000. It's not that long to wait! Have no fear! Pretty soon the game will be here! I have seen other pics beside the three new ones at the top of this page. Soon I will add those to my site. The storyline of Zelda Gaiden is kind of strange. A strange Skull Kid has kidnapped Link's beloved horse, Epona!!! Now this is the part that is EXTREMELY crappy about the game. In the other games, you could beat areas in your own leisure. 1-14-2000: Sorry, after two weeks, I'm here. Well, actually about three weeks. I've just been swamped! Zelda: Gaiden now has an official name..and...its...a...great...name... Currently, I think... its the Legend of Zelda: The Mask of Mujala. I'm pretty sure thats it. Also, you may want to visit some other places of the site today. Malon and Sister
That's right! Malon is back! But this time, she's not alone. She has a sibling! Yes, an older sister and they both have the best milk in all of Hyrule. But, this brings forth a question. Where was Malon's sister in the last game, Ocarina of Time?
THE IDENTICAL INGOS
So, you thought Ingo was bad before? Well, now he's back with his evil ways, and he also has another evil version of himself--his twin! Now, is this sister-brother ordeal with Malon and Ingo getting kind of ridiculous? I thought so! Well, now he's back with his twins and they both challenge Link, the young Hero of Time. Who knows what else is about to come up with this game!
NAVI
Sure, she was just a little annoying in the last game, but you grew to love her. Well, where did Navi go? She was bound with Link for life, remember? Well, rumors were spread across the net that Navi would become evil, and an evil version of her was posted all over the net, but it turned out that this was Mondo, another fairy with a grand appearance in the game. We'll just have to wait for Navi's part in the game, or if she even appears in the game!
MONDO AND BELL
These two, cute little fairies make up a duo that seem to take over Navi's old role--becoming Link's guardian fairies. Although, they both don't travel with him at the same time. In different parts of the game, they switch. Bell may be with Link one minute, and Mondo with him the next! You can be sure to get some useless information out of them. :)
THE WISE MAN
This man wears a cloak, and in Ocarina of Time he could be fun walking around in Hyrule Market mumbling about the Sheikah race. After Ganondorf took over Hyrule Castle and booted the King out, the wise man told Link of the Lens of Truth. This time, though, he brings much more, important, serious information. He tells Link in a spine-tingling conversation, "three days from now, the moon will bring an unimaginable disaster."
EPONA
That's right! Link's neighing little sidekick as back as just a baby pony. Although she's kidnapped in the beginning of the game, Epona is somehow recovered by Link and, our little friend escorts you from place to place, quicker than by foot. And Poe slaying, horseback riding, and horseback archery ranges will once again be a common thing, as they were in Ocarina of Time.
ODOLOFO!
One of the many bad guys to foil Link's plans on saving the world. He's a large, large man with a big sword, as the pictures at the bottom will soon reveal.
LINK'S SWORD TRAINER
What did HE do? Just rip the bottom of a mop off and put it on his head? It certainly looks this way! But, by now, shouldn't Link know how to use a sword? This guy tries to whip Link into shape for his journey to save this dimension of Hyrule. Link grinds down a tree, but is it possible he can do this later on? Only God knows...
HAPPY MASK SHOP OWNER
StalKid not only likes to steal other things, but he also likes to steal the Shop Owner's masks! This man is happy about his occupation, as he was in the last game with his wonderous masks. Now the Happy Mask Shop owner lugs a huge bag around, and in the process is on his own journey to get the little rat that took his masks!
THE CARNIVAL
LOOK! Link plays a monkey during the circus! Just kidding! This carnival is in Hyrule Field, but unfortunately, the moon is hurdling toward the planet to kill all forms of life.

No information available, BUT HE'S JUST DOWNRIGHT WEIRD!!
PICTURES
Masks--
There were originally 20-30 masks expected to be in the game, but isn't this just a BIT too much? I've narrowed it down to five masks, that include the Deku scrub mask, the zora mask, the Goron Mask, The Bunny Ears, And the Adult Link mask. It is not known if the Adult Link mask actually morphs you into Adult Link, it may just be worn to fool others into thinking you're older, to access different areas of the game.
INSTRUMENTS--
It looks as if both the fairy Ocarina and the Ocarina of Time will be accessable in this game. There are also the Goron bongos, the Zoran Fish Guitar, and the Deku horns. :)
Potions and ITEMS--
The same potions that you had in Ocarina of Time are back again! The Red potion restores your health, the green restores your magic, and the blue potion takes the roles of both the green and red potions.
WEAPONS--
There's still the Megaton Hammer (only God knows how a little kid can carry this, unless you actually have to morph into Adult Link with the Adult Link mask to carry it), the hookshot, and obviously the longshot, is back, the bow and arrows are back, bombs, deku nuts, and Deku Sticks are also back, although the Deku Tree is dead and his carcass is still rotting in the Sacred Forest Meadow. The boomerang and magic spells may also be obtainable in the game this time around.

THE STORY OF GAIDEN--- This takes Place 3 months after Ganondorf is trapped in the Evil Realm.
Link is walkin' through the woods and comes across Stalkid who imitates Link and says he has kidnapped Epona. He escapes into a portal and Link follows. Link finds himself in another dimension and learns that life here will become extinct, for the moon is hurdling toward the planet. Link meets people from Hyrule, but in this world they aren't as familiar as they were before. Sadly, this game has time, unlike the other Zelda games. At least Nintendo is trying something a bit new!
