UPDATE Mateo passed away of bone cancer in 2008. He is still missed. Cicely is doing great still Mateo is 5 years old and we have not had a problem yet. He is the best behaved dog I have ever met, even people who dont like dogs at all like him. Lysa Rector and Whispering Woods Kennels should be proud. This page is for those of you who were thinking about a white doberman, but found some scary stuff on the internet about the whites. I am not a member of any club or anything like that. I'm just a person who wanted a white doberman and decided if I was going to get one, I would do some research and find an good breeder. I decided to put together a site about him and how he grew up telling you all the problems I have with him and along with all the good stuff too. If all the bad stuff out on the internet is true... then you will hear about here it first hand. If its false, you will also hear about that here.

MYTHS: (That I heard when I was looking for a puppy.)

#1 White dobermans can not control their bladder... Mateo was pretty easy to potty train, he had some accidents, but all puppies do. #2 White dobermans are deaf... Like other dogs and children, Mateo has "selective hearing" but I know that he can hear. #3 White dobermans go insane and bite people when they are a year old. That hasnt happened yet! Pages with just PUPPY PICTURES are listed as Pictures Pages in the Links below!! I am posting a breeders page, this is will only have breeders that I have found helpful. They have been very patient with all of my questions and have been open to give any information that I requested. This is not a commercial page. I am aware that there are some excellent breeders out there who are not listed here, but I do not know them personally. Some breeders would not talk to me unless I promised them a deposit on one of their puppies. I'm just an average person who wanted a good quality dog from a breeder who would answer all my stupid questions. Mateo is our pet, and we're not out to offend anyone. White dobe's along with all other dogs, need good loving homes and we provide that. This page is for those of you who would also like to own one, but are afraid of all the ignorant rumors out there. If some one has some valid information to give me, I am always open to learn whatever I can.
