Enemies

The Rock

"All I wanted...was a 'Thank you', Rock." But did Vince get any praise for helping The Rock go to WrestleMania? Oh Hell No! Course, he's not getting much praise for siding with Triple H, Stephanie, & Shane, after months of feuding, but that's besides the point! Vince wisely used his power to stop The Rock from reaching the popularity of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (but really, does anyone doubt that he's reached that level yet?)

Sable

This picture is as distorted as her bra size! Someone needs to listen to "Pete the 'Don't Sue People' Panda" (obscure South Park reference). Hey, she'd be your enemy too if she sued you for $110 million! As the Corporation's music goes, "No Chance In Hell"! Hey Rena, they didn't make you lose the Women's title because you wouldn't expose yourself; you lost it because you no showed a bunch of shows! Keep wishing that you were being contacted by the WWF, Rena, because it's not gonna happen in your silicone's lifetime!

Dubbya See Dubbya

The boys from Atlanta, especially Bischoff & Turner. Most people know the story: Vince recieved a call from Turner, who announced that he bought WCW & was in the "wrasslin' business". Vince replied, "Well, Ted, I'm not in the wrasslin' business. I'm in wrestling," & hung up on the country fried hick.

Then in 1995, after Bischoff took control & signed popular WWF stars from back in the day like Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, WCW Monday Nitro was created to go head to head with WWF's RAW. Even though WCW won the rating for several weeks in a row, McMahon turned the tide when he "fought" Steve Austin. That week the WWF won the ratings & never looked back. And as of July 24th, RAW beat Nitro's 83 week ratings winning streak, with 84 consecutive weeks.

Russo & Ferrarra, the Benedict Arnolds

In early October, WCW began a WWF talent raid. No, not a raid of athletes, but personnal. Specifically the WWF's top two bookers: Vince Russo & Ed Ferrarra, who weren't even under contract at the time. Granted, in a few weeks they accomplished more than WCW had in years, such as creating storylines & putting wrestlers over, but most accused them of being hypocritical towards their new employers. No doubt they used the WWF's style in WCW, but it was a style they created. But we WWF fans aren't complaining. Vince read over every script while Russo & Ferrarra were in WWF, and he is currently the main booker/writer for the WWF. And no matter what the main WWF angle is, whether it be the new DX vs McMahons feud, the McMahon-Helmsley Fact-gime, or Shane's heel stable, the WWF is still garnering great ratings. A little competition never hurt anyone...

(Why do I feel like that will come back to bite me in the buttocks?)
