I got my first rabbit at about the age of five. She was a New Zealand White and I named her Pinky. Well, she had a pink nose, pink eyes, and pink ears....besides I was only five.
Over the years I have had new Zealand Whites, Reds, and Blacks, Mini Lops, Champagne D'Argent, Checkered Giant, Creme D'Argent, and Rex. I showed in 4-H and at open shows in Michigan. At the moment we have New Zealand Reds and Whites and Holland Lops. All of the rabbits belong to the kids at the moment. I am a 4-H leader and I am active on the county 4-H Small Animal Developmental Committee.Here are some links for more information
