- The house was made of sandstone blocks plastered with arobe. The rooms were used for religious ceremonies.The roofs were used as a center for working and socializing. Drainspouts and splash blocks keep moisture away from roofs and walls. They used fireplace shaped things for winter cooking. The houses were many rooms stacked together, up and side by side. They had to use ladders to get to the different stories. The rooms were open and small. They must have been cold because there were no doors at all on any rooms (only walls).
