The Shades of Time originated as a oldies and 50's band in 1990. Since then it has emerged as one of Lancaster County's premier dance bands. While occasional echoes of Elvis, even Ellington, can still be heard, one is more likely to dance to the beats of the Four Tops, Average White Band, or some 70's disco.
