#1)Take 1 groundhog and cut into bait-sized pieces and taint for 3 days in the sun.Add to this two cups of borax per gallon and allow this to set together for 3 days. Add 12 ground grasshoppers per gallon and 1 cup of honey per gallon. Mix well and allow 2 weeks to blend before using.
#2)3 16 ounce cans of Jack Mackeral
#1 bottle smoke flavored barbeque sauce
#1 16 ounce bottle honey
~~~"FOX BAIT"~~~
Combine 4 rabbits (if legal) cut into bait-sized pices. Taint slightly. Add 4 ounces beaver castor per gallon and 4 cups glycerine per gallon. blend this all together and allow it to sit 2 weeks before using.
~~~"MINK BAIT"~~~
Take 12 fresh crayfish and add 1 ounce beaver castor in alcohol, 1/2 ounce fennel oil and 1 ounce glycerine oil. Allow this to blend for about 1 week before using. The left over juice is also a good attractant.
~~~"MUSKRAT BAIT"~~~
Dice 2 large potatoes into 1/2 inch chunks.Soak these in 1/4 ounce of apple oil,1/4 ounce cherry oil, and 1/3 ounce spearmint oil for about 2 weeks before using. Use about 2 chunks per set. The leftover liquid is a very good muskrat lure.
~~~"COYOTE BAIT"~~~
Fill a 2 gallon jar 2/3 full of chunked meat, add 1/4 coyote urine, 1 pint sun-rotted mice. Allow this to taint for 6 weeks in a cool dark place and then add 3/4 ounce skunk essence. Add glycerine, if you feel you need it.
