NATHAN DAY (22)
11/19/78 - 01/24/01

Nathan Samuel Day was born at his home in Copper Hill, Va. on November 19, 1978 at 2:10 am. He was buried at his home on January 27, 2001 at 1:00pm in the afternoon next to his sister Rachel. In between those two dates my beautiful son touched the lives and hearts of all whom he met. He was the light of my life and had been struggling with the demons of depression for several years, keeping this struggle to himself. His death to suicide was as unexpected as anything in my life has ever been.

I love him dearly and miss him so very much.

Randy was born January 7th 1969 at Naperville,Illnois 7 months after i lost my father.Dad never got to know his grandson in life but i'll bet they know each other now.Randy loved the farm.he left for the service right out of high school, went to saudi war and saw things that no human should ever have to see in this world. His story is a sad one and i won't go into it.He died 9 months after coming back to my place from his dads in Texas. He loved to dance and play his drums.he loved his neices and nephew very much.He died alone on July 23,1999.He let me find him as i know in my heart he knew i would take care of him in death as i did in life.Oh how i miss my youngest son we called him Randy Pete for a nickname or stubby as he had part of his finger cut off by a bike chain.Put on his picture that Show me that my tears have made my rainbow. My little Drummer Boy with the pretty green eyes.

Susan Elizabeth Jones (15)

Susan entered this world right on time, in June of 1985. She was the light and joy of my life. Susan was the most caring and loving child I had ever known, always hurting for others, even at the expense of her own pain. Susan left behind 2 younger brothers who adored her, she was their "hero". Greatly missed by both. She left behind grandparents who also adored her, cousins, Aunts, Uncles and numerous friends .... our life as we knew it ended on Tuesday, March 13, 2001. We found my daughter who had hung herself from the tree behind our house. It was and will remain the most horrific moment in my life, how do you recover from losing a child? Especially when the child takes her own life. I do not think I will ever recover from this loss.

I am glad to have found a support group as wonderful as POS, and I am grateful all of you help remember my child ... she DID live and continues to through us, and her new POS family...

We Love you Susan ...

Nothing Else Matters

So Close No Matter How Far
Couldn’t be Much More From The heart
Forever Trusting Who We Are
And Nothing Else Matters

Shane was my baby, born 3 October 1978 ,
Timaru , New Zealand
He was a happy little comedian until he turned 14,
then he started Trying to save the world,
Love not Hate, Peace not war etc etc.
This lead to depression in the long term,
and finally when Shane was 22
he decided life was too hard.
I have no choice but toLet my baby go,
go my baby,
fly like a bird and be free.

~In Gods Loving Arms~

My youngest son was brought into this world on March
17, 1973. He was 3 weeks overdue, but once he
decided it was 32 minutes from his first
contraction to him being in my arms for the first
time. From then on it seemed as if he was always
in a hurry. Hurry to grow up, hurry to get
married, hurry to become a father, and as it
turned out, a hurry to die.

He was 6’4”, gentle, loving, physically strong, but
mentally weak. He could not stand the mental
anguish he was going through over a broken
relationship. So on May 7, 1999 he ended his pain
forever. Now we, his family have to endure the
pain and mental anguish over his leaving for the
rest of our life.

Not only was he my youngest child, he was my best
friend. When he left, he took a big part of my heart
with him that no one can ever replace. I promise
you Chris to always remind your children
how much you loved them. I will never forget your
smile that filled the room.

My precious, precious son, always remember, never
forget how very much you are loved and missed. You are
forever “MY ANGEL”.

Forever your mother
Forever in my heart
You will live on
In my memories.

Mom

"The Hardest Memories of All
Are The Ones That Will Never Be"

That smile
That laugh
That face
Were just a part of him
Those coal brown eyes
protected by thick eyelashes.

All of these and more charmed
so many to gather
and made everyone who crossed
his path matter.

A complicated soul oh so was he
so much more than I can describe to thee,
His end came too soon to explain.

I'd like the tears of those who
grieve to dry before the sun
To Happy memories that he left
when life was done.

And so it is, my best beloved.

Love, Mom

I've learned that goodbyes will hurt,
pictures will never replace being there,
memories good or bad will always bring tears
and words can't replace feelings.

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
and bring you home again.

Love,

Lord, I have given up my pride and turned
away from my arrogance.
I am not concerned with great matters or
with subjects too difficult for me.
Instead, I am content and at peace.
As a child lies quietly in its mother’s arms,
so my heart is quiet within me.
