For starters, my name is Lydia. Yeah yeah i know. I've heard it already.. "Lydia, oh Lydia, the tattooed lady!" Anyways. I graduated high school on June 14th, 2001 and am now going to the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Go wolverines! College is very interesting. After two years of being Engineering - Undecided I have officially chosen a major of (drumroll please!) Software Engineering! Yay! I figure that I like writing html, so maybe I'll enjoy the whole programming thing too. I am also considering minoring in german. Sprechen Sie Deutsch? I went to Germany for two months this summer and basically studied german. So that should help with my minor. I am a part of the wonderful engineering sorority Alpha Omega Epsilon at school. The girls there are so awesome. On to another note - I am now officially 20 years old! Yay! I guess. You know, nothing special happens when you turn 20 - I can still gamble and drink in Canada, still buy cigarettes and lottery tickets... oh well.
I bet you're wondering what i look like? Well, if you must know, go check out the pics page - I'm in almost every section. I have some extraordinary news - I am single! Unfortunately after 3 fun years I felt it right in my life to break up with Scott. But no hard feelings! We're still friends and all that good stuff. I also don't have a job anymore! Can you say free time? It's wonderful. But.. the whole money situation sucks. I'll eventually have to find another job.
So, what about hobbies? I love the Sims! I'm almost constantly busy with sorority stuff and I finally beat Final Fantasy IX. Now I need to work on VII (I hear it's one of the best of the series). I also have an adorable black and orange tortoiseshell cat named Sushi. I can't express how cute she is - someday I'll put a pic up of her too. I played tennis and soccer in high school and was in our marching and symphony band playing the clarinet.
Hum de ho hum. Oooh music. I like music. Alternative is the best. 89x is an awesome station. my favorite bands are probably.. 3eb, staind, creed, k's choice, offspring, incubus, 3 doors down, live, jimmy eat world..and stuff like that.
Alright, onto miscellaneous info. I drive a 2001 twilight blue ford focus. i have an incredibly annoying 14 year old brother. I live in Dearborn, Michigan, aka Hockeytown. I used to follow the wings a whole lot but now if I'm home and a game is on, I'll watch it, but usually nothing else. College life is busy!. Risk is the greatest game in the world.. we played it in ap calc a whole lot once the ap test was over. yes, I took "advanced placement calculus" and did kinda ok in it. I have a LiveJournal but I almost never write in it. Maybe once a month if you're lucky - and it's usually when I'm mad/angry and complaining about something. I think i've told you enough. well.. I still wanna say thanks to Dan for getting me started on the whole webpage thing. and that's about it!
Oh! one final note - Moulin Rouge is the greatest movie in the world!!!
