Edgar Cayce's Creation Theory

In the beginning was the God force. This force encompassed all energy, all space, all time. This was the I AM THAT I AM.

As time passed, God began to desire companionship. He moved, and "Hence as he moved, souls -- portions of Himself -- came into being." From this we can see that we are not separate from God, but rather extensions of God. The readings go on to state that all souls were created in the beginning -- none after.

We were with God as He created the universe. Consider this quote from a Cayce reading:

"When the forces of the universe came together, upon the waters was the sound of the coming of the sons of God. And the morning stars sang together. Over the face of the waters was the voice of the glory of the coming of the plane for man's indwelling. The earth in its form became a place; and afterwards able to be an abode for the creature called man."
(Reading 34-1)

As we expored the universe, we were drawn to the Earth plane. We watched in fascination at the material forms here. Souls began to enter and leave matter at will. Souls would enter animals and control their bodies. We were also able to project our thoughts into materially; in other words, what we thought, we became. This was described by Cayce as being the fall of angels; when souls desired to be their own creators, and in doing so separated themselves from their true source.

It is important here to realize that the soul itself has no sex. But as the souls became trapped in matter, separation of the sexes occured. As we became entangled in our own chaos, we began to lose our awareness of our connection to God.

The first female was Lilith, Eve's forerunner. From her many monstrosities came to be -- centaurs, satyrs, unicorns, and other forms known to us through myth. Realize that these creations were not God's, but rather our own; forms that came about because of our own misuse of free will. They were, in effect, the daughters of men and giants of the earth mentioned in Genesis. These monstrosities mixed with the animals upon the earth. As time went on, they became more and more trapped in the matter they themselves had created. The original sin of man was, in fact, the misuse of creative powers to satisfy the self.

Other souls looked on to what was happening on the earth plane and wanted to help, but couldn't. There were animals then that closely resembled what we had to become -- our evolutionary precursors. This form was "adapted" to suit the needs of man, the form we know today.

A soul, Amilius, volunteered to incarnate and show the lost souls their way back to the creator. He became Adam, a man of flesh and blood. In the Bible, he is the first of the Sons of God. Eve too was created. Though they were flesh and blood, they were also representative of the five races, of all mankind. Between them was the balance of positive (male) and negative (female).

The Garden of Eden was not one place, but five places upon the earth; the birthplace of the five root races. Each race had a chief attribute, or sense that symbolized the primary attribute of that race. These senses must be conquered before spiritual perfection can take place. Below is a chart, which includes the location and attribute of each race.

Race Location Sense
Yellow Gobi Desert R2C2 Hearing
White Carpathian Mtns., Iran, Causcasu Area Sight
Brown Lemuria, Andes Smell
Red America, Atlantic Feeling or Emotion
Black Upper West Africa, Sudan Gratification of the Appetites
