Faye & Nic Working Together?

Former lovers Faye Wong and Nicholas Tse may soon work together after their split two months ago, if she accepts an offer to join his record company.

Wong, whose contract with EMI expired last year, is now in talks with several companies, including the Emperor group, which manages Tse, reports Apple Daily.

There is a good chance she might end up with Emperor since EMI, which was said to have paid her HK$30 million (S$6.9 million) for 55 songs the last time, is said to be unable to afford to renew her contract.

Another company, Go East, has also reportedly given up for the same reason. In contrast, Emperor, which is starting a new label called Music Icon, is reportedly keen to sign up Wong and another big-name act, Sally Yeh, to launch the label.

Faye & Nic Back Together?

HONGKONG - Nicholas Tse has brushed off questions about reports that he and Faye Wong have patched up.

Last week, the tabloids said he had dumped Cecilia Cheung, 21, and returned to Wong's arms after he was heard repeatedly and openly speaking to her on the phone.

The pair reconciled after he spent six hours at Wong's house pleading with her and apologising for the breakup, according to The Sun Daily.

Tse then went to Chengdu to visit a temple last week. After returning to Hongkong, the 21-year-old was heard chatting often with Wong, 32, on the phone.

On Monday, when asked by reporters if it was true that he and Wong had re-united and planned to holiday together, he replied: "Crazy."

Cheung: I left Tse

HONGKONG - Cecilia Cheung wants it to be known that she was the one who left Nicholas Tse.

Contrary to talk that he had left her to go back to Faye Wong, the 21-year-old Hongkong actress was quoted by United Daily News as saying: "I wasn't dumped. I dumped Nicholas Tse."

She backed out of the relationship to free herself from the love triangle, she added.

Hongkong's Oriental Daily News, quoting an unnamed source, said she had lost sleep and weight since her romance with him made gossip headlines in late March.

She had been under stress, not only because of the bad press she received, but also because her friends were against her romance with the two-timing Tse, reported Oriental.

According to Hongkong's Sun tabloid, the 21-year-old bad boy of Cantopop made up with his 32-year-old former lover upon the advice of an astrologer he consulted in Thailand.

Apparently, the astrologer said that Wong's zodiac complements Tse's - both Wong and Tse were born in August - and that she would be good for his career. But if he stayed with Cheung, who was born in May, his career would go from bad to worse, the astrologer warned.

How fortunate then that Cheung has dumped him.

GOAL Denied

On a recent trip to Thailand with his parents, NICHOLAS TSE was advised by a 'sage' that his spate of bad luck would subside only after he patched things up with ex FAYE WONG. So he dutifully drove to her house after his return, at 5.45 am (!), and pleaded with her for six hours - she in her bedroom, with him locked out in her living room.

Word has it that the singer even told Faye that he was incompatible with CECILIA CHEUNG and intended to break up with her. But Faye refused to see him and fled to Beijing with her daughter Jingtong the next day.

In public, however, Nicholas continues to appear calm and collected at all his appearances. Including this friendly celeb football match in China (above), where he showed off his slick goalie moves - despite loud jeers from several never-say-die spectators in the stands.
