Sun in the 12th House
  
This position of the Sun indicates vulnerability, sensitivity, and some 
psychic qualities. There is something of a contradiction in this placement in 
that here the ego-centered energies of the Sun are faced with twelfth house 
energies that seek to overwhelm and dissolve that individuality. In the world of 
spirit, the expression of the soul is dominant. In the physical world, the ego 
is dominant. Hence, some individuals may have a misplaced sense of being. 
Perhaps through meditating and achieving a sense of balance in your life, you 
will realize your purpose.  
   
You are sensitive to the needs of others, which may be why many individuals 
with this placement are in the medical profession. You want to help humanity, 
but you may lack the tough-minded resources to do so. You are so sensitive that 
you easily absorb signals from others in your close surroundings. Therefore, you 
must withdraw to a reasonable distance to enable you to clear your thoughts and 
reinforce your personal boundaries. This is often the reason why you feel the 
need to be alone.  
   
If the Sun receives challenging planetary aspects here, you may be full of 
fantasies, forgetful, and overly secluded. In extreme cases, misfortune through 
loss may occur. A well positioned Sun suggests a compassionate, kind individual 
who wants to serve humanity. At a higher level, you are able to spiritually project 
love and light.
