Pluto in the 3rd House

  The emphasis in this house is your ability to relate to a unique sense of 
  personal identity and understand this identity in relation to your immediate 
  environment. Much of how this is expressed depends on planetary aspects to 
  Pluto. Under stress, your perceptions tend to be rather fixed and limited. 
  Well-aspected, you are open to new ideas and will collect information to process 
  for a new and deeper understanding.  
   
  Related to the above, you may be a compulsive talker who seeks relationships 
  in order to release a build up of mental energy. You need these relationships not 
  only to acquire and process information, but also to impart this knowledge to 
  others. However (and this happens to be at the heart of this house placement), 
  the rate at which you obtain information means you risk overloading your mental 
  data bank. If the mental focus is more towards the left brain, you process 
  information on an intellectual level. If the mental focus is more towards the right 
  brain, you process information on an intuitive level.  
   
  Thus, with Pluto in the third house, there is a need to balance the intuitive and 
  intellectual perspectives. The contrasts of Pluto's energies here range from 
  those individuals who have a most irritable way of speaking over top of others, 
  to those transformed individuals who have managed to use their creative ability 
  to get to the depths of human interaction. As you grow, you will be able to do 
  more along the lines of precision work and research, and you may develop the 
  gift of extra sensory perception. Perhaps you also have special energies which 
  can emanate out your hands for healing work.
