Pluto in the 1st House

  play an important influence. A planet in the first house, close to the Ascendant, is 
  referred to as a rising planet. If you have Pluto rising, your gaze and view of the 
  world will be sharp and piercing. Pluto in this house of identity suggests that you 
  may be rather obsessive with respect to your impact upon the world. There is a 
  tendency to take things rather seriously and seek out your appropriate mission 
  in life. It is during this search that the intense and dynamic energies of this 
  planet reveal themselves in significant ways. Such ways may be a significant 
  rejection of arbitrary authority or an acute yet deep understanding of life, one 
  which is analytical, reserved, and sometimes critical.  
  A unique characteristic of this placement is the way in which you launch yourself 
  into a relationship in order to find out something about yourself. You want to 
  push the relationship as deep as it can go and if sex is possible, to experience 
  the ultimate bonding. However, a lot of growth and understanding need to take 

  place in order for your surface conscious mind to absorb this depth of 
  information. Insecurity or a misplaced identity can inhibit you in early years. It is 
  through relationships and the resultant understanding gained from them that you 
  seek deeper knowledge.  You may, in fact, experience many relationships. One 
  of the interesting effects that generally occurs during these experiences is that 
  such interchanges seem to lack real balance. You may sense that you are

  open up to others, listen more, and have the potential to grow more than most. 
  You will be able to leave the negative baggage of rejection and alienation by 
  friends and family and dedicate yourself to spiritual ideals, while gaining even 
  deeper insights into the mysteries and meaning of life. As you acquire wisdom, 
  you will need to assess other people's receptivity to your truths. Your intense 
  and contrasting delivery can overwhelm them.  
   
  Pluto's energies can exhibit a destruction-of-the-old and the rebuilding-of-the-new 
  characteristic. That which you perceive to be unpleasant and in need of change 
  will drive you to generate this energy. You should be aware of your potential for 
  destruction, because these forces may be difficult to control. If Pluto is not 
  adversely aspected, you should be able to emerge from many personal battles 
  more mature and on a higher rung of the ladder. If particular aspects of life block 
  you or cause frustration, you can directly or indirectly discard them like a hat. If 
  you find yourself frustrated in a relationship, you may force your partner to end 
  the it, or you may subconsciously give your employer a reason to fire you from 
  the job that you wanted to leave anyway. It is important to mention that it is

  the world through open, constructive, and honest dialog.  
   
  In order to transform, there has to be a contrast to initiate change. Therefore, it is 
  not uncommon to have experienced traumas and difficulties in your early years. 
  Suspect, mistrust, investigate, analyze, understand, and react become the 
  keywords for your approach to events in life. Thus, you stand apart from the 
  crowd and could have been quite lonely as a result. Such loneliness will 
  dissipate as you grow, but your life may still follow an extreme course, since 
  you have to experience highs and lows at their full intensity. You are generally 
  driven by an intense passion, which often requires constructive and responsible 
  growth. You may always have to deal with the destructive element of Pluto, but 
  the greater use you make of the constructive side, the better you will feel. Do not
