Bio-History:

Gerald "Gerry" Drew is the son of the original Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew. When Gerry was born, he was diagnosised with a strange blood disorder that was passed on by his mother. Unable to find a cure by normal means, Jessica recreated the experiment that original gave her her powers. It somewhat worked, Gerry gained his own spider powers, such as enhanced agility, super-strength and the ability to stick to walls. However, it didn't cure his blood disorder. The constant turmoil caused by Gerry's illness caused his parents to split up. This caused Gerry further heartache as he blamed himself for his parent's divorce. He determine to do something with what ever time he had left.

Gerry created his own Spider-Man costume after his idol, the original Spider-Man, Peter Parker. Jessica agreed to train her son with his powers and let him play the role as the new Spider-Man. On his first outing as Spider-man, Gerry alerted both J. Jonah Jameson and Peter Parker of Spider-Man's return. Not long after, Spider-Man met Spider-Girl and the two didn't like each other very much right off the bat. While Spider-Girl tried to find out who this "new" Spider-Man was, Gerry immediatly started making enemies with Mr. Nobody and the Kingpin. Things got worse when Canis started a war between him and the Kingpin which brought Funny Face into the scene. Gerry was so determine to take out Canis, that he put himself in harms way with Mr. Nobody. Spider-Girl pushed Spider-Man out of the way of Mr. Nobody's bullets, but killed Crazy Eight in the process.

Completely upset with himself, Gerry tried to make up for his mistakes and ended up running into Darkdevil. Wanting to help him out, Darkdevil promised to let Gerry help him if he promise to stay quiet. He became a target by various super villains, with his only hope lying with Spider-Girl and newly reformed New Warriors. While not happy with things, the original Spider-Man showed up and defeated Mr. Nobody. Gerry decided to give up being Spider-Man so that Reed Richards could find a cure for his blood disease, but its safe to assume that Gerry Drew's days as a super hero aren't over yet.
