Bach at the Hayloft Liquor Stand "Battle to the Triangle" August 6,2001

Hey all!! I'm not any good at writing huge reviews lol, and alot happened lol, too much almost, but here goes....My friend Shawn and I got down to the Hayloft around 8 I think, Shawn heard a rumour that this place was one of the bars in Detroit that Kid Rock bought, I don't know lol, its a pretty cool place... kinda small lol, it was REALLY hot though that sucked. Baz showed up about nine I think I don't know lol, I lost track of time. Anyway Shawn and I were standing around waiting with a coupla people, Baz walked up to us, I was wearing a BEBA shirt and he pokes me in the chest and says, "I like your shirt " Then he went on stage to announce the first band, he took off for a little bit after that I don't know where, so we watched the band...what it was he'd go on stage to announce each band, it was the finals that night and they were down to four... I gave Baz BB's Bach Army tags HE LOVED THEM, he even let me put them on him, we watched the second band Fine Bone China they were great, Baz really liked the third band though Riot in Progress lol, he was in front of the stage a few times banging his head , I was still trying to get him to see my artwork lol, I went up to ask him while he was watching the band, he was like "yeah yeah I will, I just want to listen to these guys first, you should listen too,"so I was next to him watching , he made his way bach up to the stage near the end of their set and got up on stage with em, it was a trip!! He led me outside the bar after that there was a patio area outside with tables and everything, everywhere he went people would come up to him and a lotta people congregated around the bach of the patio, wanting him to sign stuff, and he'd sign anything for people lol he was siging t-shirts, people would hand him slips of paper he'd sign that, signing body parts lol, it was wild, I sat next to him for a while, and showed him my stuff, he loved them!! He liked one of them , he said it would be a cool design for a t-shirt , he said he wanted me to design his next t-shirts for him, I don't know how serious he was about that lol, he signed a bunch of them , Shawn was behind me waiting patiently lol, and I was like you gotta say hi to her, he did, but it sucked while we were out there, they stopped letting people under 21 in, so she had to stay out there :( Then he went bach in for awhile , to announce the next band, after they were done , they had to add up all the votes for the bands, cause they gave ya slips to vote for them...while that was going on ...he had gotten off the stage and was walking to the bach of the place and some song i don't know what it was, but baz knew i guess he starts singing with the dj from WRIF lol, then they start playing all kinds of stuff, like clips of stuff and he's singing i was right next to him i could'nt believe lol, there were a lot people gathering around him ...he gets up on this really wobbly table that was right there and starts singing skid row stuff, "monkey business" and "I remember you" everyone was going wild, singing along, and the guys were holding the table steady for him, he almost fell a coupla times, the guys caught him and held him up, he had a beer in his hand too, he spilled some of it on me lol, I was just standing there in amazement lol. Later after he announced the winning band Fine Bone China, they started playing again, he came bach on stage with em and sang Hard Days Night it was AWESOME!! I really had a great time!!! So much happened , I can't put all of it here, theres too much, but it was an Incredible night!! Thanks sooo much Baz , I hope ya see this!!! Debra

By the way , I know the one with Kenny from South Park on it looks like I made it so he could sign it there, I DID NOT, it was something I did just goofing off, and I could'nt think of anything to put in that spot ya know? That and I probably did'nt wanna work on it anymore ha ha. About Kenny, I love South Park and he's the only character I could kinda draw. I always kinda liked the pic though so I brought it along.

BACH IN DETROIT - AUGUST 5 & 6 !!! below is an email containing the info on the "101 WRIF/MGD Battle to the Triangle" , at which I will be the Special Guest MC ! i will not be performing at the event but we will be picking the best local band in Detroit so it will be a helluva party that is for sure ! the WRIF is one of the greatest stations on the planet Earth & Detroit ROCKS & I am looking forward to checking out the latest crop of Detroit Rock ! see ya Sunday !!

Saturday August 4th from 2pm till 12am. Sunday August 5th from 2pm till 10pm. Monday August 6th from 8pm till 12am
Special guest MC none other than Sebastian Bach appearing Sunday August 5th from 6pm-10pm & Monday August 6th from 8pm -12am for the finals!
The winner of this battle of the bands competition scores the opportunity to open for Buckcherry at the Emerald Theater on Friday August 10th for the local MGD Blind Date show. Then, that same lucky band will go on to play at the main MGD Blind Date in the Bermuda Triangle!
Attendee's of this event will be able to get registered to win a trip for two to the Bermuda Triangle and be apart of the MGD Blind Date. Sebastian will draw the winner Monday night at midnight.
