Well, we're home! No problems on the trip (except for the first trumpets and their music..) and no problems at customs. Rock! There were more fun times to be had on this trip than I could ever write about, so send me your favorite parts of it! email me!.
Anyways, it started out with an 8 hour drive to Niagara Falls, driving around our Hampton Hotel which had a neat little indoor courtyard we got to chill around in. Apparently strange things went on at night on the guys floor (Joe Rypma's room), but there's no documentation on the monsters under those beds. after heart-to-hearts until 2 AM, we all got up shuffled onto the bus to ride by niagara and eat breakfast after watching mr. haan stare at the wall all the way up the skylon tower. after the drive to toronto, we played at the science centre and took a whirlwind tour of that. afterwards, we went back to the hotel to change out of our blue WP band shirts and into real clothes to party out at the playdium (giant arcade), where we found out that our band directors have violent tendencies...the next morning we ate breakfast in boxcars and two hours later had lunch in a food court (wow, choices!). Soon after, we traveled out to the Casa Loma castle for the percussion emsemble and jazz band performances and a self-guided tour (literally self guided because we all left the chaperones!). after dinner at vinnie's grill room, we saw an outstanding performance of "The Lion King" (awesome!) at the Princess of Wales Theatre. The next morning we packed up after an extremely early breakfast and headed out to the 5-story, two city block long eaton centre for a little over an hour of pure money spending. A couple hundred dollars later we went to the hot house cafe, which was probably the best meal we had the whole trip (thanks in part to the 6 different chocolate cakes, which were all amazing). We then rode up on the CN tower (glass floor!) and toured the skydome. After that, we rocketed over to the Medieval Times dinner theatre show (go yellow knight!) and then stayed for an hour at the dance afterwards. The trip home was short, but long because it was hard to sleep for the first half and it was so hot on bus #2 (the A/C broke) that we opened the vents and all froze...but after arriving home at 2AM, i'm sure we all slept quite soundly in our own beds.
