David D. Dickersons Story David Dickerson David Dickerson gave his life to the Lord in 1972. Since then David has served the Lord in church as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Song Leader, and Youth Director. David has written nearly three hundred songs, four of them are award winning , recorded six albums, And is currently working on his 7th album., which is all Christmas Songs. He was inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame in July 2002 in Country Gospel Category David has performed in several States of the Union, and all across Michigan. He has had the opportunity to work with Nashville Recording Artist such as : Billy Walker, Jack Green, Connie Smith, Hank Thompson and Leroy Van Dyke. Dave loves writing songs about the Lord, home life, and Country. He was born and raised in Hammond Louisiana, so the country flavor in his gospel songs comes naturally. Other artists are now recording his music. David shares his experience and knowledge of song writing with his audience. At every one of his concerts he takes the time for questions and answers. He has helped a lot of people get started in the very competitive arena of song writing . His songs are geared for any and all age groups, and he always adds a touch of humor in his concerts.
