My Fishbowl
Welcome to my glass cage,
where you can come to see me swimming about in my daily life.
Amy at the Rila Monastir, Bulgaria (1998)

I am a Ph.D. candidate in French at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Having taught for the past 4 years as a Graduate Student Instructor, this academic year I will be working as a Lectrice d'anglais at the Universite de Lausanne, Switzerland. My favorite things to do in life? Travel . . . Write . . . Learn/Teach foreign languages . . . and communicate with my loved-ones. I also have a strong penchant for sushi . . . but that's another story. I guess it's ironic that this is my fishbowl?
I expect this page is as much for you as it is for me. Let me know if there is anything I can add to make it all better.
