Earth Spirit is a nondenominational, religious and social group that focuses on promoting the validity of all of the world’s major expressions of faith, and aiding the spiritual health and growth of individuals with non-conventional spiritual beliefs. A number of faiths and practices are represented among our membership: Wicca, Buddhism, Druidism, Unitarian-Universalism, just to name a few.
We place a great deal of emphasis on the individual’s role in spiritual development, and strive to accommodate all manor of spirituality. As we respect the sanctity of all modes of spiritual expression, we strive for inclusiveness in spiritual exploration. However, feeling that it is amply represented throughout this campus and our culture, we tend not to focus on Christian tenets of spirituality.
We work to further our goals in a number of ways. We have meetings that range in function from social meetings to celebrations of various religious holidays.
