Fleeing the familiar floors
we ponder and walk free
with prison bars ending.

Sky bathed in colors

swallowed by an evening sea
finally subdued.

With sleepy eyes and tired bones
my mind in overload,
one needs to sit back... relax

A face brusied and swollen,
eyes saddened and red,
precious moments just stolen
by hands that once led.

Excited eyes
filled with love and desire,
watching as sleepy bodies collapse
in delicious laughter,
it's a sight to admire!

Peaceful Sleep
Awaiting morrow's golden rays,
A child sleeps in peaceful darkness.
Only the candles small glow,
Weaves its small shadows.

Wide eyes set in wonder,
A life so frightened and small
his small soft cry is heard.

Sadness ... a harsh reality
It engulfs ones' soul
with strings that tighten
with every tear shed.

so far away to grasp
with such a short arm
moving farther and farther...
